A nice win for Manny against Bradley, for me a battle of two very talented Mr Nice guys, who do not follow the usual pattern with some by slagging their opponents off , neither has anything to prove , just a shame Manny got some bad press not too long ago that for me was a load of bollox and blown out of all proportion , he's rightfully a hero in his Country, and if he does as well at politics as in the ring he'll go far , as many say his last few fights have not been quite up to his standard ,but if he does retire I'm sure all TD boxing buffs wish him all the luck in the World whatever the future holds for him

Just watched the fight on You Tube, IMHO having felt the power Martin did not want to know .

^ you are correct. To be fair to him, these big heavyweights are very dangerous punchers, and Martin had no defence and was gonna get battered. In an interview, he just said he didn't see the fast right hands coming - not a good sign, so better he stayed down; he would not have lasted the round and may well have been stretchered out of the ring...

In today's Bangkok Post , Manny appears to be a wee bit hesitant now on finally calling it a day , he could get an even bigger purse fighting Canelo Alvarez which is not beyond the realms of possibility's that the match could be made Pacquiao '50-50' on retirement | Bangkok Post: news

Fury is a Schizophrenic, deluded, plonker.

I'm awaiting his imminent defeat with glee.

    Fury is a twat.

It's a shame that he's gonna lose to the Ukrainian because it'd be nice to watch Joshua knock him out cold. Fury simple has no power to upset Joshua, and would get walloped..

This should be an interesting fight this weekend
Errol Spence Jr. vs Chris Algieri

Not least because khan struggled big time in his last fight against Algieri,
if Spencer handles him easily as Pacman did, it's got to look bad on khan
though nothing will convince his fans that hes a dud ...

The man who may wind up being boxing's next great welterweight is set for his first close-up. The undefeated Errol Spence Jr. (19-0, 16 KO) will headline Saturday's Premier Boxing Champions show from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Former WBO 140-pound champion Chris Algieri (21-2, eight KO) will provide the opposition. Algieri is known for his upset win over Ruslan Provodnikov in 2014, but things haven't been as rosy for the 32-year-old Huntington, New York, native since. He's lost two of his last three fights, but he's still skilled enough to be a problem for most in his weight range.
He'll be near his hometown on Saturday, and he'll likely need the support as he takes on one of the sport's best young fighters. Here's how you can watch the fight:

When: Saturday, April 16, at 8:30 p.m. ET

^Glad you brought Spence's name up Blue , I have now seen him twice and for me he's the real deal in a division chock full of talent , for me the kid has everything thats needed to get to the very top , the way he dealt with Phil Lo Greco who was being talked up at the time as a real prospect was to say the least impressive , I have mentioned him a few weeks ago as a guy to watch for the future, this fight will IMHO cement him as a future World Champion , here is his impressive record BoxRec - Errol Spence Jr

I'm on a double figure losing streak in boxing bets , going right back to my last win , Ricky Hatton beating Costa Zoo, way back when
    Mostly outsiders, but still....

    tonights (losing) bet
Errol Spence Jr. vs Chris Algieri

    £5 on Chris straight win 9-1 (+900)
    'logic'
spencers seems untested against someone of Algieri level (top 30 ?)
spencers is 26,surely if he was that good he would have done more by now
i don't like the look of him
i like the look of 9-1
maybe chis can wind him up tonight. like he did with the slight elbowing at the weigh in

The way I see the fight is that Algieri who is a notorious non puncher will not command any respect from Spence who will be on the front foot all night , Spence's team called out WBA Champ Keith Thurman 6 months or so ago and Thurman did not want to know , some times as you are well aware fighters are too classy for their own good and cannot get the right fights ,IMHO young Spence falls into that category , today's fight will prove whether he's the real deal or not

Well Spence came through with flying colours , by the reading he appears to have taken Algieri apart at the seams , no wonder Thurman did'nt want to know him , for me Spence could go all the way Spence smashes Algieri; Glowacki retains WBO belt against Cunningham | Boxing News | Fightnews

Yeah Quite Impressive by Russel , the difference in class was obvious as soon as he opened up ,far too fast and hard hitting for Hyland, maybe a big money fight with Leo Santa Cruz is on the cards next ,although Russel indicated he wanted the only guy to beat him Vasyl Lomachenko if the match could be made .

^ Absolutely mate... he seems like a good sort - and I wish the young lad all the best. Glad to see he's recovered and is making the smart decision.

Health is #1 priority in life - without health, happiness is impossible and money is useless.

I never wish harm on anyone, especially decent blokes like Nick.

Nice one NZD , of course as we are all aware it was not just his decision to retire from the game as the BBBC would never have granted him a licence to return to his chosen profession .

The Golovkin juggernaut trundles on !!, who is there out there who's going to derail him ? Wade was supposed to be a live contender , the million dollar question is will Saul Alvarez ever fight him at 160 instead of making stupid statements like the fight will have to be at 155 , no one is bigger than boxing ,and hopefully if he deals with Khan as many think he will ,we can all look forward to a real fight later on in 2016 Golovkin destroys Wade in two | Boxing News | Fightnews
