Think wlad said he has a rematch in his contract.

Fury was pissing about trying to pull his shorts up near the end , lucky he did not get nailed harder for that
I like this article, at least the bit about Joe Louis; sounds like a good book too, it's a shame more books aint digitised
Wladimir Klitschko is dull but history will judge him more kindly | Sport | The GuardianThere is a moment in Joe Louis’s fine autobiography, My Life, where the former heavyweight champion describes how his waning powers left him for good during his final fight with Rocky Marciano. “From the seventh round I knew I just didn’t have it,” he writes. “I said to myself, ‘Oh, if I just could have gotten to you five years ago.’ But it wasn’t five years ago and I was bleeding like a stuck pig. My age gave me away: all of a sudden my legs gave out. I was washed up.”
Louis was 37 years old. He had been the undisputed champion for more than 11 years and fought in 27 world title fights. But now he had nothing left. “They had to lift me off the stool for the bell in the eighth,” he remembers. “I was glad I wasn’t fully conscious when referee Ruby Goldstein stopped the fight. There was no doubt Marciano had beaten the shit out of me.” Afterwards, when Louis was on the massage table, the doctor told him he could not fight for at least three months. “I turned my head and looked at the doc and said, ‘Do you mind if I don’t fight no more at all?’” wrote Louis, sounding both grateful yet wistful. “I thought, like many fighters before and after me, that I’d always be some kind of superman. That’s the dream. Not the reality. I just didn’t have it any more.”
Here you are Blue ,A walk down boxings memory lane
Fury vs Klitschko looked a bit like a couple of giant squids going at it, all long arms clinching, posturing and wrestling each other. Glad Fury won (as I had a few bob on him), but it wasn't a great boxing match tbh.
The best action this weekend was from Quebec, where James DeGale retained his Super Middle belt in a (unanimous) decision win over local hero Lucian Bute in a fast, action-packed fight. Bute looked far from a spent force at 35yo, and gave DeGale a heck of a fight, but was outworked and outlanded by a confident younger guy.
On the undercard, a superb upset win, Adrian Granados getting off the floor in the 1st round to pummel the highly-touted Amir Imam into an 8th round stoppage.
Fights like this one are what still makes boxing great.

I got up early to watch the "fight" , gotta admit I did'nt fancy Fury at all , I read there may be a return in 2016 ,IMHO I can't see it being any different unless Fury hits the bright lights and balloons up in weight , in closing if thats the best two heavyweights there is ,then the noble art is up shits creek without a paddle
^Since the Ukrainian Beet Farmers starting dominating the Heavyweight class, the "glamour" division, or former "biggest prize in sport" has certainly lost it's sheen.
Fury at least has a bit of charisma. Will probably appear on the front pages a bit too, like his Dad; thumbing people's eyes out in pub fights.
Sorrily there is a dearth of World class concussive punchers in the Heavyweight division (against true world class fighters ) these days, it makes one wonder how these present day Champions would have fared against the likes of one of my all time favourites Ernie Shavers
Tyson is on the short list for BBC Sports Personality of the Year. If it were for personality alone, he has to be a dead cert considering the competition.
^ he is a useless Northern Kunt, 'Arry - already he's making excuses to avoid everybody who can punch. I wonder just who they'd be able to put in front of him for him to have a chance of keeping his title.
I'm glad he won because it's gonna be great watching him get knocked down to size. Him, his brother and trainer are mouthy gits; one of them was calling out Lennox Lewis today???
Cycling should be banned!!!
People have just got bigger in the last few decades and there are just huge lumps - super heavyweights, nowhere near as skillful as the 210 pound heavyweights of the old days , but big bastards all the same ,
lots of boring opponents for fury to fight
i'd like to see him take on this guy , would be fun ,
7 foot tall !
Taishan Dong
There are a queue of washed up knobheads trying to get a fight with him for the money.
The one he should obviously fight to unify a few belts is Joshua.
Unless there is someone in the US that's worth more money.
Couldn't blame him for wanting to cash in on his new-found fame, it could be fleeting.
But I did say personality Boo, you can't argue that he's got spades of that.
It was for common sense he would win,Originally Posted by harrybarracuda

The 27-year-old also said that he was not scared of being accused of homophobia as his religious beliefs as a Christian confirmed for him that being gay is a sin
"There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home,"
"One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia. Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?
"When I say paedophiles could be made legal, it sounds crazy. But if I had said to you about the first two being made legal in the 50s, I would have been looked upon as a crazy man."
It is not the first time Fury has landed himself in hot water with reprehensible comments. In 2013 he was fined £3,000 by the British Boxing Board of Control after he said fighters David Price and Tony Bellew were "gay lovers"

Here's a good and recent video of Fury being interviewed.

Shock news in the Middleweight division yesterday. "Miracle Man" Daniel Jacobs knocked out favourite Pete "Kid Chocolate" Quillan in the 1st round to retain his WBA title.
Best part of the fight here: Jacobs vs Quillin: Highlights and KO video, was the stoppage too soon? - Bad Left Hook
I thought the ref had jumped in too soon. But watching the replays, it looks like Quillan was starched from a punch to the temple. Great action while it lasted.
Like you Kmart I thought that the stoppage was some what premature ,but again like you after watching the replay ,there is no doubt in my mind that Quillin was on "Queer Street " and the refs decision was correct , even Quillin did not protest ,what next now for Jacobs, GGG?
The press conference was more interesting and that was a joke.Originally Posted by kmart

I like Jacobs. The guy survived cancer and beat the odds in boxing as well. He got KO'd by Dmitry Pirog back in 2010, but that was his only loss. He has a big KO ratio in his win column too.
I reckon an immediate rematch with Quillan is on the cards next. (Jacobs holds the WBA 'world' Middleweight title whilst GGG holds the WBA "super world" version... I think it's only the accountants that can keep up with all these mickey-mouse acronyms, tbh).
No one wants to fight GGG, it's as simple as that. He damages opponents, and despite all the posturing "I don't fear Golovkin.." the supposed champions at Middle do not want to face him unless they're getting a massive payday.
-Hoping they have a clear-out at Middleweight and Welterweight divisions. They should all have to fight each other in a "Super Six" tournament like the Super Middles a few years ago.
Doubt it will happen though.
Hey Kmart I don't know if you've run the slide rule over this kid ,but having watched him twice now for me he ooze's class , he's called out Keith Thurman a couple of times but it fell on deaf ears , if you have whats your opinion on him? BoxRec - Errol Spence Jr
Here's what Qullin had to say after his stoppage loss to Jacob's ,Interesting comments too Quillin says ref was ?definitely doing his job? | Boxing News | Fightnews
^Seen the Spence kid touted as another "next big thing" out of Floyd Mayweather's mouth, even. So he must be good. Another Welterweight prospect that needs to be fighting the best out there.
Saw the post-fight interview with Quillan, and he was very gracious in defeat. One of the best post-fight interviews I've ever seen, tbh. I think he made a lot more fans after the fight than previously in his whole career.
