If you enjoy shows such as "The Office", this will probably appeal to you. Some good dialogue for sure:

Hassan Kadam (Manish Dayal) is an extraordinarily talented and largely self-taught culinary novice. When he and his family are displaced from their native India and settle in a quaint French village, they decide to open an Indian eatery. However, Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren), the proprietress of an acclaimed restaurant just 100 feet away, strongly objects. War erupts between the two establishments, until Mallory recognizes Kadam's impressive epicurean gifts and takes him under her wing.

I saw it on Truevisions, oddly enough (they come up with some first runs---for me---that I don't find on HBO or Fox movies) and recommend any movie that I sit thru its entirety: done. Here's a kickass Blue-ray 720p and 1080p link Download hundred foot journey movie Torrents - Kickass Torrents
The 720p link comes with a film camera icon in front of it and the 1080p does not. Not sure what that means exactly but as it's also on top of the two links, I tested the magnet link and uTorrent loaded it: 4.99GB but I didn't download it. You'll have to go thru at least one clickadd, those MFs, but I couldn't find a link on piratebay and don't trust any of the other links I found.
Bit windy for a recommendation, EH? Where's Luigi???
“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”
It's a lovely film.
Hellen Mirren has stupendous class. And when Madame Mallory is asked by Hassan Kadam's father what the definition of classical is (as in classical cuisine), she starts out by saying "The root of 'classical' is 'class'". I thought "oh, here we go: brit starts talking about class". She continued: "Therefore, he will learn to cook with class."Originally Posted by patsycat
New series, The brink.
Tim Robbins and Jack Black in a dark comedy about a Pakistani coup.
True Detective EP4 is up if anyone still cares.
I shall watch it, if only for the opening music!!
Now that you mention it he is a bit grating at times but I liked him in Wild Things and Something About Mary.Originally Posted by Davis Knowlton
I tried to watch Slow West but fell asleep about half way into it. Aptly titled but the joke is on the viewer.

^^ Excellent shootout...fast forwarded most of the first half
Honestly, if you want something a bit more realistic about a foreign chef wanting to make it big in France, Ratatouille should be your choice. It's basically the same story but the characters and the general French atmosphere are much more believable in the Disney movie.

^Overall, four episodes in, it's been a real let-down.
Only an insomniac could watch the whole series in a weekend
Insightful and well made documentary full of first hand accounts and extensive colour footage. 90 mins. I watched it on iPlayer, use a proxy or wait for a download.

I'm going to make another recommendation (having been advised by Davis to keep it up). This recommendation will be a little weird, as far as recommendations on this thread goes. First of all, it's about Interstellar, which I know, is soooo yesterday. Secondly, I'm requoting all posts that have already discussed it. Third, I also posted an earlier comment which was flamed and I want it brought to light and the retardant (def: substance that prevents or inhibits something) exposed for the retardant he is.

OK, back to today (July 15, 2015).
I just found a review of Interstellar in which the reviewer wants to see it twice and not only is her review in between viewings but it's dated July 15, 2015. First of all there are 720p and 1080p blueray YIFY torrents available on piratebay (select the magnet link, obviously): https://thepiratebay.mn/search/interstellar/0/99/200
Here's the review on moviepilot: Interstellar: A visually stunning, well executed Sci-Fi film that is actually scientifically accurate | moviepilot.com
"Interstellar: A visually stunning, well executed Sci-Fi film that is actually scientifically accurate"
(Ed: I agree with this assessment.)Today I saw Interstellar the new film by Christopher Nolan which centers on humanity that is on the brink of extinction and the only way to save humanity is to go through a wormhole and find other habitable planets for a new colony of humans. Interstellar is directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Michael Caine and Mackenzie Foy.
There are few positives to this film which are: the story is very good, the story progression is perfect, the acting is outstanding, the film is visually stunning, the film is very intriguing and has tense moments. To expand, I was really impressed from the quality of the story as it hooked me from the start and even through to the end; the plot is very interesting and I have heard people mention problems with the plot but I don't really agree with them as my experience was different. One thing that I knew as soon as I exited the cinema is that the film needs re-watching to understand fully, the plot is quite complex and I understood it watching it this time but seeing it again would make the film easier to understand and I'm pretty sure I'd pick up things I didn't spot this time. For a 3 hour film, the expectation is that it is going to be slow and drag but there is so much happening in the film that the length and pace that is set is perfect. Also the acting in the film is phenomenal and because of Matthew McConaughey's performance I felt attached to the characters in the film which made many of the sections of the film more tense and I was on the edge of my seat for large portions of the film; finally the visuals in this movie are breath-taking they are just gorgeous and makes the film worthwhile just from them, it is art.
On the side of negatives my only problem with the film was the final 45 minutes which I understood but got very trippy and odd, this means that I am unsure what to think of the end. Thankfully with rewatching it will mean I will get a clearer understanding of my impressions of this section.
Overall I thought Interstellar was a fantastic film with many interesting plot points and ideas which were very intriguing and because of this and the other reasons I have mentioned I rate this film:
9/10
