Watching it now. Not bad, although I have to strain a bit to follow the accents. But, it looks promising thus far. Thanks.

Finished. Quite good. Look forward to the next installment.

    I enjoyed the first one
With some trepidation, I went ahead and downloaded this, even though it's not even close to my normal fare. Actually quite good. I think I'll go back and watch part one. Cheers, Dill.

^There's two versions Sin City#1. One is a story which follows all the way through as a movie and one which is four mini movies.

If you get the mini movie version, you'll be wondering what's going on as the credits start rolling past four times. This version has scenes not in the original.

I liked Sin City because of the fantastic way it was filmed. A real treat for the eyes.

I guess, if you have a fetish for tit-less, chicken-legged adolescents clomping around in ridiculous dress devised by gay designers seemingly on mushrooms !

TV series "The Americans" is highly recommended. It details the life of a family of Soviet illegals, planted in the US as 'sleeper' agents at the beginning of the Cold War.

It was written by a guy who spent four years in the CIA as an analyst who obviously spent a lot of time researching 'illegals'.

There are currently two seasons (2013 and 2014) with a third to come.

    I greatly enjoyed it.

Have you been watching CNN's documentary The Cold War? Ewan McGregor is the narrator and the film is very good and from the period. I think it compares favorably to any doc produced by PBS. Thank God, film cameras were good enough and common enough around the world by WWII. But the story is interesting in and of itself.

No problem. It's at least at episode 13, which is in the 50's or 60's I think. The whole series is bound to repeat or you can try downloading it.

I'm just catching up with an Aussie show from 2008 which I didn't know about before.

    The Hollowmen.

    The Hollowmen (TV Series 2008

The Hollowmen is an Australian television comedy series set in the offices of the Central Policy Unit, a fictional political advisory unit personally set up by the Prime Minister to help him get re-elected. Their brief is long term vision; to stop worrying about tomorrow's headlines, and focus on next week's.

    Very funny.

btw, on the IMDb page it shows a movie "The Dish" made by the same people as the above show, which is also worth watching. One of the main actors of that movie, playing a role very different to his normal type of role, maybe known to our American colleagues.

Jungle Atlantis: Angkor Wat's Hidden Megacity. Part 1 of a 2 part program.

Just watched this fascinating program from the BBC and highly recommend it.

Using modern technology and the accumulation of various archeological and anthropological studies of the area, the program gives new insight to the incredible extent of the Khmer empire and the technological ingenuity that gave it mastery of the environment which was the source of it's power.

Here's a torrent link, I've just downloaded it myself and checked the quality which is spot on

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

^ Don't wish to sound ungrateful for the direction, but any link that wants me to do anything other than click on a magnet link and say yes is way too much intrusion.

    Download this and download that?
