Best TV I've seen in a long time.. inspirational family, well made.
Comment was definitely directed at McCloud and at people in general

A Jewish family in Germany emigrate short before the Second World War. They move to Kenya to start running a farm, but not all members of the family come to an arrangement with their new life. Shortly after their departure, things are changing in Germany very quickly, and a turning back seems impossible. So everyone has to arrange himself with the new life in a new continent.

When it comes to films about the Nazi racism, Nowhere in Africa is in a class by itself. Unlike Schindler's List and a plethora of screenplays on the subject, all of which confine the drama to the morality of good and evil, some with didactic overtones, others with pure shock value, or both, this movie illuminates, both with a spotlight, and a microscope, the social origins of racism.

I don't think he fits any part unless the script requires a drunk dude to hang with the chicks on Malibu Beach, get into serious trouble from the night before and not recollect where's he at when he wakes up in the morning. U know, I would bet he could have done as good a job as Bradley Cooper in Limitless, an excellent, excellent movie:

Facing unemployment and his girlfriend's rejection, writer Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is sure that he has no future. That all changes when an old friend gives him a drug that produces enhanced mental acuity. Stoked on the untested chemical, Eddie rises to the top of the financial world and attracts the attention of a tycoon (Robert De Niro) who intends to use him to make a fortune. But terrible side-effects and a dwindling supply threaten to collapse Eddie's house of cards.

Critics Consensus: Although its script is uneven, Neil Burger directs Limitless with plenty of visual panache, and Bradley Cooper makes for a charismatic star.

    Download link... https://kat.cr/woman-in-gold-2015-72...t10819107.html

You will need this ... Woman in Gold YIFY subtitles ....... as 15% of the film is in German or find a torrent with Subs already added .

Not yet. Critics are good and there isn't much things to watch anyway so I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Matt Dillon. I was an early fan, dating back from The Outsiders and Rumble Fish. He should have had more success than he had.

Suits. I stopped watching a while ago. The first couple of seasons were ok but then it turned into a fashion show, pretty people, nice suits, expensive handbags ... and nothing much going on beside sentimental dramas more suited for middle age house wives. But I see the show is still going and the rating remains high. Have you watched it lately ? What do you think ?

I still watch it. More out of habit than anything else.

It's generally got one if not both feet on the wrong side of "cheesy".

If you're expecting it to have changed - it hasn't.

Back then I think he got tons of good press. Hard to live up to all that hype. What about the Brat Pack? Robert Downey Jr. is the only left, right? And he had to go thru the press himself as in 'Robert Dowey Jr. is druggie, druggie, druggie', didn't he? Seems to me the dude can't stop begging for forgiveness through his roles. Even in real life: he has almost 20,000,000 friends on FB and has to post thanks to them all in advance. You should see the post where he takes about 20 selfies of his face and labels them "angry", "sad", "happy", "horny", etc. talk about insecure NA member.

Just snored my way through EP2 of True Detective (literally...I nodded off about 20 minutes into it, and had to start over later). It pretty much blew. No spoilers, but after a very so-so EP1, I had hopes.....which were dashed.

Tonight double feature : Escape to the Wild followed by Wayward Pines.

Thank you fellow posters, I would probably have missed these two excellent shows without you.

(Wayward Pines I've only watched the two first episodes thanks to Neo but it seems very promising)

Honestly I'm not surprised by the poor reviews. The innovative story telling technique is not innovative anymore and the two lead actors who were carrying the show are gone. What are we left with ? Twelve days to wait until the beginning of Ray Donovan's season 3.

PS : After having watch last night episode 3 of Wayward Pines I don't where all this is going but I'm going along. To be honest it looks a bit like an old favorite serie of mine but I won't say more to avoid spoilers for those who haven't watch it yet. Will it live up to its promises ? We will see but for the time being I'm hooked.

After reading your post and the reviews on IMDB I was ready to give it a try but it doesn't seem to be available on KAT. Any link for a download ?
