Yeah, I started that last night.
One episode at a time, pretty harrowing.
Another solid Stephen Graham performance.
Imagine the uproar if the 13 year old was black and the lead detective was white, just an observation.

Dope Thief (TV, 2025)
A couple of crooks who rob drug dens pretending to be DEA agents go one step too far.
7.5/10
2/8 up then drip feed.
The Electric State (Netflix movie, 2025)
Cost $320 million and not worth it. Universal got frightened and sold it to Netflix.
Terrible panning from the critics but it's just eye candy and the kids might like it.
5/10
Added: An interesting article on the lead, who seems to be quite happy churning out this crap and who doesn't seem to give much of a shit.

The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
Adolescence was really interesting as well as disturbing. I couldn’t help but despise that child.
I had never seen the series Fargo and watched it over a few days. Great stuff. If anyone hasn’t seen it, do.
It just keeps getting worse.
I particularly didn't enjoy it and skipped through the last episode.
You really are a witless fuck.
You should stick to cartoons and teen comedies.
WTF? Don’t know where this thing about “the face of knife crime in the UK” came from but not what the movie is about. Perhaps it is too intense for some.
Why everyone is talking about ‘Adolescence,’ the Netflix limited series that’s every parent’s nightmare
As a parent it is every parents worst nightmare.
So yes it was too intense for me.
Uncomfortable viewing and hopefully I won't have to go through that experience.
But yeah it's kicked up a stink here.
Now streaming - 'Gangs of London' Season 3.
6 new episodes of Black Mirror will be up on Netflix on April 10th

At last something worth watching.
Interesting reading about how they did each episode of Adolescence in one shot.
For one scene, he walks out to a car, drives across town as the camera follows him in the air, then pulls into a car park. Apparently you can see the camera operator driving into the car park at that point.
Basically the CO hooked the camera to a drone, hopped in a van, whizzed around to the next point and went behind the shot to get the camera back off the drone so it was all seamless.
Apparently Netflix's No. 1 show in the US this week.
Blah,blah, blah.
Bag of shite!
