The initial five episodes will be broadcast on the same evening, while the remaining five episodes will be aired weekly at 9pm on Thursdays."
According to TV listings, this is the UK release schedule for The Day of the Jackal:.

    • Episode 1 - Thursday, November 7 at 9pm
    • Episode 2 - Thursday, November 7 at 10.10pm
    • Episode 3 - Thursday, November 7 at 11.15pm
    • Episode 4 - Friday, November 8 at 12.20am
    • Episode 5 - Friday, November 8 at 1.20am

I managed to get to half way through ep7 and gave this the flick

the 2 leads had finally filled up the total bullsh1t levels and I stopped - the first 2 or 3 episodes were ok , but then it became a grind of suspending disbelief

How does it compare to Fox in Fred Zimmerman's classic original? May give it a whirl tried Paris has fallen , so so prefer Berlin Station or Killing Eve of this genre.

There are a few nods to the original, otherwise apples and oranges.

this is atrocious - 30 minutes into the first episode I had to stop - and it was painful to even get that far

unless you have the tastes of a teen boy , give lioness a miss

If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

No, the second five parts are on the schedule in post #21156.

I don't know how many Baldrick plans on watching before he moans about it.

Ah don't worry, your weird approach to watching things and moaning about them doesn't bother me in the least.

Although I do find it amusing you got six and a half episodes into an eight parter then decided it wasn't worth finishing and only the first three were good.

The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth

I don't know if this has been recommended before. It first aired on Netflix in the spring of 23.

The Night Manager - a 10 part political/action thriller. A few twists and turns in the plot and a reasonable pace made for better than average viewing.
    I enjoyed it 7/10

A second series is due late 25 and there are already plans for a 3rd

    Gathers speed like a rollercoaster.
Some great actors with a plausible plot.
Something for everyone and worthy of binge watching.
