^ i dont recall you ever posting a pic containing any of these American Beans. Ive seen loads of your Full Englishes though with these Brittle legumes

This dish below doesn't look very American... well, apart from the thimbleful of bbq sauce and the shake n bake Its not even the size of a kiddies meal over there

Did you get Diabetes over there off these Mercan beans or something?

Because the American beans I'm talking about don't come in cans, they're made in-house at BBQ restaurants in America and to varying recipes that include things like bacon and jallapenos. They're then served as a side dish along with things like slaw and potatoe salad. Typically with a smokey flavour and sometimes spicy too, nothing like the sweet brittle beans you guys would go to war over.

Pointless even discussing it with someone who's never tried them though, how could you know the difference?

Oh that's not BBQ or Daddies sauce on the mash potatoe either, care to take another guess? I'll give you a hint, its the most common thing people put on top of mash pototoe that isn't BBQ or Daddies sauce

Cheers HW. Now those are Baked beans. Many cooked them over the fire in big cast iron pots. Nothing better to go with a Tri Tip sammich. The canned syrup beans the Brits eat are poverty food with absolutely no taste but a nice way to stretch a meal.

Of course they sell them in cans you nutter, they call them Pork n Beans
It's basically bbq beans laced with mollasses , syrup and pig fat. You must have been ripped off if yourswere less sweet and fatty and better for you than a can of tomato flavoured Brittles

Sounds delicious RD... HAHA. And you put these over everything for Bfast and some brag about it...

Let me ask ya, do you even taste the beans? I bet they are like mush with zero flavor ( except for the diabetes level sugar content) I am just guessing.

I used to go to big BBQ challenge events in the states and baked beans were a part of the judging . Some were incredibly good. Cooked over an open fire, with real pork, no syrupy sugar and cooked to where you could actually enjoy the bean and they would some times mix kidney with Pinto for a nice taste.

^^Not even close. Let's talk about something else you've never tried, how about Mud crabs cooked on the coals by the side of the river in North Queensland they were caught in, for sure you're an expert on that topic too

What kind of fukking savage would wanna eat a crab that's been living in and tastes of fukking mud?

Oh yeah some Southern islander who supports Aussie sports, English breakfasts and American bbq beans and Shake n fukkin Bake

Your nationality need not define your tastes in food.

Says some snork who eats black pudding, what part of the black guy did that come from again? The names don't tell the real story of either but given the choice of eating a big QLD muddie or black pudding I know which one is sheer heaven and which one isn't. But again, the difference is I've actually eaten both to be able to have an opinion instead of just talking out of my quoit

It's chili crab which is only one of the most famous crab dishes in the entire Far East

But yeah they don't grow very big and many Queenslanders actually keep them as pets. Should you ever find yourself near one the safest way to handle them is by putting your fingers inside their claws, this puts them to sleep immediately and they are then quite harmless.

I also hate sweet breakfast food. Furthermore, I am more of bacon, eggs and hash browns guy.

Ever notice that it's those very basic American breakfast type of places [usually independent Mom/Pop] that never go out of business, as they always have a steady and loyal clientele.
