That does look really good, nice variety. That is a lot of food for the money, I be getting fat in no time if I ate like that every day. I'd have to skip a day or to though just so I could afford a bottle of King Robert every now and then.

One more reason to eat and drink in moderation, my health.

    Cheers, fishy.

Yes spicy Italian sausage, jalapeno's, a special spicy red pepper called "mama lil's" and tomatoes. It is my current favorite combo as I like hot and spicy.

It does look nice, however I don't see how that is supporting Dilly's health kick!

It isn't, it's two fingers up and rightly so. Looks good to me too.

Dill has no dietary moral high ground after a weekend of Tie Dying hotel pillows with red wine and eating flocks of chickens, even made Dillette and Mrs Dill bear witness to the debauchery

This is the Dinner thread. Dills gay health food diet is on another thread. This is the thread where I look at what I wish I could eat!

^ not sure about that. The chips look nice. The bun looks like a good one too.

A new hamburger place opened up close to me, all freshly cooked, pork & beef burger. This lot was 200 baht:

Meh, should've gone to burger king. I won't go back; not bad, but even a Mac D quarter pounded with cheese tastes better (& that's not good).

    ^ it gets worse...

All you fukers eating steaks and big chunks of beef got me wanting... In Daegeon, there's only one good meat/beef place, a Brazilian...

    I went with a mate:

    Dinner-20190808_165303-jpg

    Dinner-20190808_165455-jpg

The beers looked average and the wines were too expensive for average wines...

    Dinner-20190808_170811-jpg

The menu is 19,000 won (483 baht) for a nine course meat meal; one piece of each selection. Or 34,000 won (814 baht) for eat as much as you like... Obviously, the latter was the way to go this evening.

There's also a salad bar included, buffet style (a nice beef stew which I didn't have this time, but last time when on the 19,000 won menu I did and it tasted loveley).

To start, they cook you a small steak. Then, they come around with skewers of various meats.

We decided on a couple of jugs of sangria... as you do...

^ that's mine; medium, tasted very nice.

    Next selection:

The wings were really nice and the sausages better than they look.

    Next selection:

    Next selection:

    Next selection:

    Next selection:

for a while... It was eat as much as you want, so we got another sangria then waited 15 minutes.

Then, we ordered our two favourites: the steak and the brisket:

All in it was 42,000 won each (1,069 baht).

We then went off and had a few Belgian beers at a local bar. Nice.

    Fuk me, I'm full...

I did invite her, but she didn't want to come. I also showed her these pics, and said she's welcome to come next time. Actually, one of her Korean friends (a lovely elderly, but well off couple) have been asking to take us there for ages, but the wife always declines... She'd rather get some out of date vegetables and make up some somtam at home...

Korea has some nice restaurants, decent value. For what we ate and drank, I reckon it's decent value. For the money, all the different beefs, some pork and chicken and other bits, eat as much as you want, 25 British pounds or so has to be good value, hasn't it?
