What a tremendous beer snack that is.

So good that I actually looked past the khao soi!

Dillinger, I bet your rugrat wolfed it up and, at the end of the day, isn't that what food is all about? Enjoyment.

Unless it's spicy, I usually eat what my 5yo Boys eat.

    BTW, Dinosaur pasta ...

For some of the dodgy Northern Chiang Mai pervs n weirdos there's a wee Burrito van on the Rimping side of Talad Mae Hia.

Not much on the menu. They only do burritos (pork or chicken)

    Bladdy delisherous that was.

And before snubbs spits out his 40, no it isn't genuine Baja style.

    Set up yer Datto, Ant.

    ^ Pad Prik Gaeng.

^^ A stiff 100 bahtski. I should have realized at that point that they forgot my 'Dessert: Lime Margarita Cookie'.

That burrito looks damned good. Like those black beans in a burrito. Those are black beans, right?

7 hours later and it's yet to be expelled in liquid form. Always good for a Mexican dish bought off a 30 year old pick-up truck at the side of the road in Thailand.

Thumbs up for Border Run burritos, even if they did manage to forget 50% of my order.

Made a simple pasta dish for our second meal yesterday. Sauteed some onion, garlic, ham and mushrooms in garlic butter and olive oil. Then added thick cream and reduced slightly before adding the cooked pasta and folding the lot through. Only seasoning was salt, cracked black pepper and parsley flakes. Served with some crappy Parmesan cheese.

So a bit behind in the dinner thread. The lady and I have both been quite ill with some flu like virus that will not let go. So she made us noodles the other night to sooth the illness....

Potato. It's almost always an offer of one of the other for lunch and when I say "solo papas/arroz" it doesn't really matter. Rice will definitely be there, but I may or may not get a potato with it along with the obligatory plantain.

Yuca pops along occasionally, but most noticeably in soups.

Looking like a brown bullet is in the post for Chez Chitty.

Thought I'd treat myself and the dog.

I must admit his dinner smelt like corned beef and far nicer than my chunky steak pie..
    Dinner-20190607_083546-1-jpg

Ketchup was my first mistake. .
    Dinner-20190607_083910-jpg

Just noticed. Me Lulutards can compare and judge the thumbs and thumbnails of both me Main Main Mrs and Minor Main Mrs on this one page. Should keep them occupied for a bit.
