Australian striploins with roasted spuds and pumpkin with broccoli. The top steak was grain feed while the bottom steak was grass feed. I expected the grain feed would have been better as it had better marbling. Turned out that there wasn’t much difference between the two.

Miss Fish made the dish. Deep fried cod, breaded shrimp, asparagus mixed vegetables and what I call french fries. Just add Heinz Ketchup and some homemade tartar the fish.

    God I despise these places.

Could have the same experience at home by locking yerselves in a wardrobe with a heater and bucket of smoking coal, then some Mama noodles, extra waxy flavour. Some shit flavourless meat, unknown animal. Possibly a rodent. While being serenaded by a loud soundtrack of squawking primates. Then charge yourself two thousand baht and have to throw away your clothes because of the smoke and grease.

A once in a year experience, as it takes about one year to forget how horrid the experience is.

Tonight I am having my normal Friday meal and that is fish and chips made lovingly by Jaybees Bar in Pattaya.

Credit where credit is due but I have two meals being two servings of Atlantic Cod in a special beer batter with proper chips, mushy or garden peas and all the condiments for 99 baht per serving and for me my bill is 198 Baht.

I look forward to Fridays. Thanks Johno and let all those internet warriors on those whakey Pattaya food sites that give you stick and that Headworx probably manages to go fuck themselves. These fuckers ooooooozzzzzzeeeeee jealousy but fuck the cvnts!

    Well done lad!

Well, after spending 130 baht to eat at home I can understand why Friday night is something you can save your money on.

Cabbage rolls fried in years long oil? Some pay extra for that kind of experience.

Some folk's dreams are others nightmares.

    I'll settle for the cod...........

    5 pieces of chicken = 40 Baht.

Cooking time and a bit of onion based sauce = 20 Baht

    A basket of chips = 20 Baht

2 pieces of Cauliflower, 2 sticks of asparagus and a piece of broccoli = 20 Baht

Plus sales tax and others including profit margin = 160 Baht!

How much did you pay for that meal Dill?

^ So do tell Jeff did you get a job in one of those western kitchens that you tried to get hired by back in 2008? I bet most have lost track of all your multi nicks.

I bet dimes to dollars that you are still in Portland.

You're clueless, but I'll go along .... well, being a broke tefler, we can't afford the fine dining establishment like the ones you frequent. In fact, the wife and I would probably never spend an evening together in the places you frequent.

Its on Livv's memu at 600 baht, but its well worth the extra now and again to get away from the
dregs of Pattayan society, plus it was 50%off on social media

Simple question Tubber in line with your claim...............You invested 130 Baht to eat at home and I respectfully asked whether that investment was for you and your wife's meal.

You in turn come back with insults which probably confirms you are a moronic lying dick with nothing more to say.

Another Groundhog day for you Tubber! Funny as fuck but sad at the same time.

I'm sorry for the insult and didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I know you strive to be a moral compass for us here and would never intentionally insult another poster. The promises you've made and kept are legendary and one day, I hope to be held in the same high regard as you. It's a goal we all should strive for!

About the wife's and I meal, admittedly, it doesn't include the 10 baht of rice we had to split. For you and your wife to go out and spend 200B on a meal is quite extravagant, considering how hard you both work.

Out of curiosity, how do you pick which shithole pub you're going to spend the evening at every Friday?

So 140 Baht for a family meal Tubber? Still a good result for any Teffler worth his salt!

I always eat at home Tubber because it is lovely but I guess you and your missus avoid going home until absolutely necessary. Living in a hole in the wall must be difficult!

There's 2 breasts not 5 chunks of chicken in that
    Plus
    6 fin de claire oysters
lamb chops for her, regret showing her lamb
    Spag bol kids meal
    Ice cream
    smoothies
    1600 baht including tip.

Not cheap i'll agree but lamb chops are 900 baht on that menu alone and anyway thats the price I pay to have Sunday dinner away from loud crude sweaty Aussie pissheads in wife beaters.
