Have to say that it wasn't bad.

Not a touch on Lil' Aye's masterpieces though, 100% for sure.

You coming down for the pie feast tomorrow Lu Lu?

We have of course the Pies and Aussie beef casserole and Butter chicken with Pilau Rice as our donation.

I believe tickets at the door are still available but no guaranteed seating.

Who? Anyone from TD? Perhaps someone that can upload pictures of your wife's donations? Someone with the IQ of a 6 year old?

    Holy shit that looks horrendous.

How is it every meal you eat seems to have 'remove a week from the consumer's life' as a tag line?

Cy, it wasn't bad. It was far from what I hoped....it's what the wife and I shared for dinner. We didn't finish it or the nachos and was in and out of there in two glasses of beer.

LOL, LC! Well done! What a witty response! You have a thread about your event. Let's keep the BS there.

    Sadly, no.

What's up here....Dill posts pictures of overpriced Hooters food with no Hooter girl pictures, puts up pictures of the pizza place across from Tawanna hotel that's crap, and I'm getting the shit for something that looks almost edible?

^ You sound like my dad, who won't eat a whole prawn 'cus they 'look at him'. Looks good to me though.

I've been a curry muncher lately, and well impressed too. Little Aye's. Tried-

1- Butter chicken (*****) - if you don't like this, some problem with your taste buds. Curry for wimps, but leaves you happy.
2- Chicken dopiaza (3.5*)- well tasty, but add fresh coriander & some chopped onion/ capsicum after cooking, for best effect.
3- Chook Vindaloo (*****)- As a civilized vindaloo should be- tasty, Hot, but not vicious. Nice job.
4- Chikky Jalfrezi- (4.5*)- Yummy. One of my old faves is jalfrezi. Right up there, I'd just add a wee bit more spice.

This is upmarket Indian food, but @ 130bht for a good serve, not nearly an upmarket price. The jeera pulao rice was very nice too. I'm a customer. You can pay well over double this for the same curry in many an injun restaurant, and not nearly as good.

    Sterling effort.

^ Thanks for your honest appraisal Sabang.

Yes it is extremely difficult to get the ingredients perfect for every taste but I think my wife has done a great job.

She's just launching a set compartment meal with a slightly smaller portion of chicken curry and 200 grams of Pilau Rice.

    Initial response is extremely promising.

Thanks Tosti for another honest appraisal.

Little Aye's Pilau rice is also getting rave revues and at 30 baht x 200 grams in a microwavable sachet is a fraction of the price supermarkets charge.

You heading to the Loft tonight mate?

No... as previously stated. I also don't use a microwave. Have fun though....
