You're watching Narcos!!! I've just started on Season 2.

Tonight, in 32 degree Geneva. Pats shall be partaking of a tortilla filled with salad, guacemole, salad etc. with lemon and pepper prawns.

Most bought at Lidl. Mexican week!! Tomorrow, same same but with some sort of other fish. Salmon.

Too hot to start timing a steak to be perfectly pink.

Shite, forgot the wine. Cheeky little Australain Chardonnay, Sovereign Creek, South Eastern Australia. I bought it coz there was a kanga on the label!! This is the second bottle, the first was appreciated by friends. Cheap and cheerful.

I've got a glicicle, to keep it cold....

Haha. Very close Pats. I finished Narcos S02 last week, second time watching it, and started on El Chapo S01 tonight.

    Even broke out the Nachos.

    Narcos was better.

Had a couple of steaks that needed using so got them out and marinated for when the misses got home. Misses gets home and i realise got no spuds or even frozen chips, don't worry she says I'll do some noodles. So noodles and sliced up rib eye steak it was.

Out of town for a couple of days and managed to find a little place in the middle of the student area that does a cracking bibimbap (rice salad with a fried egg and spicy chili paste) and banchan (side dishes) for next to nothing.

Meat free Monday to Friday isn't too bad.

    Yeh, me too.

Toast and coffee for breakie, but abstaining for a whole day, that's a stretch.

I thought you were doing the same during the week? To be honest, I'll do a bit of chicken some days (lunch today), but I try to avoid red meat.

Last week I did really well. Wholemeal toast or bran flakes for brekkie, veggie or fish dishes for lunch and either toast or fruit late in the evening for 5 days straight.

    The weekend was carnage though.

I usually just do meat and vegetables (easy Tomcat) during the week, usually salmon or steak.

Or Monday to Wednesday at least.

So no pasta, bread, potatoes, rice or noodles or alcohol.

Also cut down on sugars a lot full time.

Was never really over weight, but this keeps me a fit and trim 75-77kg-ish.

No Lidl near me, you will only get them in Chinese supermarkets or they are the only place I've seen them, come in a red packet with a cartoon character on the front if interested. £5 for a pack of 5 but they are fucking spicy.
