    Thanks mate

Looks difficult, but dead easy. Rolled out the top secret dough, used a plastic cup with sharp edges to cut the outer circle, then used a milk bottle top to cut out the inner circle.

Yup, banged into the deep fryer, then dipped in cinnamon and icing sugar... very morish...

*Secret dough was made from: Flour, egg, milk, baking power and sugar.

My year of making donuts included putting the dough into a hopper over hot oil, then cranking out 2 dozen of the critters at a time; turned based on color, then removed and cooled before being cinnamoned, powdered sugared or served plain...always a favorite with the morning crowd...

My grandma takes that canned biscuit dough and uses that

Pop a hole in the middle, deep fry, and boom.

Cant tell if serious or walking into an insult but yeah sometimes. Or melts down some chocolate and dips them.

Powder sugar, vanilla, couple drops of water and thats the 'glaze' or 'icing' + some sprinkles or whatever...

I never thought about that but because my dad did it I always use those tinned biscuits to make my dumplings. Easier still just boil them in the broth... A trip to Villa may be in order.

Well if Za's taken a break from tossed salad and fish eating to trying some prawns, I might as well post some pics from today.

And a few left over for fridge-raids tonight

Not breaded & fried though & Po' Boy uses small, cheap-ass shrimp lol.

    "Poor Boy"

That was screaming shrimp cocktail in the beginning. Horseradish & lemon om nom nom

My favourite way to eat them. Fresh Italian roll, lettuce, S&P, light squeeze of lemon juice, homemade seafood sauce.

2nd favourite way is just dipping them in sauce and eating them straight off the plate with an ice cold beer on the side.

What do you do with yours, or are you just doing a Jeff here?.
