^No sorry there won't be though I've very likely posted plated pics of this very thing before (it's a once a week dinner). But I have a friend coming over shortly and we'll eat together, so photos will take a back-seat to a few beers and conversation.
^ Good on you mate. Enjoy and have a good night.
Piccalilli (relish for the yanks):
Salted some leftover veggies and an apple and left covered for 24 hours to drain the water from them:
Added the spices, sugar, vinegar and veggies/fruit to the pan and cooked for 7 or 8 mins:
Then set aside in a jar for 4 weeks:
Before annihilating half of it in one weekend with some strong English Cheddar, prosciutto and a baguette or 2:
All I need now is Charley's pork pies and we'll be good to go for Christmas!

Just thought I's share. Homemade dumplings...Old photo.
Send me some of that relish and I'll send you a pie!
^^^Interesting!
Love that stuff but had no idea how it was made (or even really what was in it).
How do you make the dumplings? Ive got a beef stew here that could do with some
I want to eat my computer.
That looks like it's been sent directly from heaven.
Great, now I got some ribs taggliatelli, and Piccalilli to make over the weekend.
Bloody website full of chefs.
Good work.![]()
I'm trying to think of any sandwich place near me for lunch. That piccalilli, cheese and prosciutto baguette picture is causing me serious mental anguish.![]()

Faarkk! Now I gotta go down to Foodmart. Either pick up a fowl or something else I can bake. The missus is away so the mouse will play.
A couple of pre dinner drinks & then coast home with a nice red during the meal. Okay! Red is alright with a chicken baked & spuds & greens. White is for pooftas, right?
That picallili looks good, you should add some chillis to it for a nice kick
I've got crabs.
Tomorrow, their wriggling around in the fridge at the moment.
