Sliced green papaya placed on both sides on the meat will tenderise it . Stick it in the fridge overnight, something to do with the enzymes I'm told, had a Filipino missus back in the day who tuned me into that little gem of informationio . I sure miss her.

Not bad as an entre.

Indeed. Papaya also. Pineapple too, but not sure if they're the same enzymes or just similar. I believe that Papaya is best. Unfortunately it hums too much of slow, damp, fart for me.
