I also think he is using utensils he has nicked from a airline to make the meal seem bigger......

Is that a holed out grapefruit on the top right? Looks like he has 10 minutes until Jan's back too![]()

Slow cooked ribs that the meat was falling off the bone.
String beans sauted in butter and homemade Italian dressing
Brown rice.
Sorry, no pictures.
Tonight we're doing cabbage rolls slow cooked in marinara sauce. I'll try to remember to take a few photos.
That all sounds very nice CS but we do need pics in this thread , are you Italian BTW ?
About as Italian as you Nigel. I honestly meant to take pictures but I just couldn't wait after trying to pick up the sets of rack o' ribs without them falling apart.Originally Posted by nigelandjan

I have to agree with Necron here. Italian must be about the most varied food there is.
If pasta and pizza is not for you you will find lots of inexpensive fresh meals in small restaurants everywhere - meats, fish, vegetables, grains , desserts. whatever you fancy
Just google a bit to see what there is.
I am pretty certain you will come back with a changed opinion
You can get pizza by the metre. We were a crowd of six people and ordered one once!!
Well thats why I was asking someone who has experience for a few tips , never been never seen .Originally Posted by Happy As Larry

Bit of an experiment.
Take a nice bit of fillet, smash it out a bit.
Mix up some big red chilli, garlic, woster and oil and coat.
Add salt, pepper, bit of cumin.
Add some chopped spring onion and corriander.
[Picture missing because bat mot]
Roll up the steak and wrap in bacon, use a toothpick to hold it together.
[Picture missing because phone charging]
Season and Pan sear the outside, baste with woster and oil and into a 200c oven for 15 min or so.
[Picture missing because forgot]
Result - damn tasty, but because it's a small bit of meat should have turned it every 5 min

Picture out of focus...Why's that?
