Nice bit of roast pork shoulder tonight ,, only a small piece for the 2 of us with some left over for sarnies tomorrow , not bad for £4.99p.

Cooked it low and slow 3 hours at 140 degrees , lovely and tender .

Sorry had to edit , were not gonna be eating " sardines " tomorrow ,, thank you Mr Jobs ,, well I aint anyway

I have to say that being back in the States for the holidays and being able to use my kitchen, utensils, condiments, etc and getting the foods I like to prepare make the dinners spectacular. The George Foreman grill is a great cooking grill.
I purchased the breville grilller (Aust equivalent) the last trip, absolutely brilliant use it for quick breakfasts. No porky yorkies, or Pommy stoge on mine, just Quesadilla's etc

    Cheers Nige.

That was a bit of Thai beef too mate. Was so tender. I rubbed it with salt and pepper, a bit of crushed oxo cube and a touch of red wine.

Put it on a rack over an oven dish with another dash of wine and loosely cover with foil.

Whack it in the oven at full blast for 10 mins, then turn it down to 180 for another 25-30 mins. Take it out & close the foil up - let it rest for 15 mins while you cook the yorkies and make the gravy.

F*ck knows what happened to the yorkie though!

D'Fking'Licious, obviously served with Colmans and horseradish

Bastard That was my poison of choice back home. Found it in a few places here but I'd have to mortgage my flat if that was my everyday beer!
