Both of those meals look pretty nice.
Hark! The mighty Booby hath spoken.
Thank you for your blessings there Betsy.
Cheers mateys :-) Oishi!
Patsy's stir frying tomorrow. I buy out Morrisons of Blue Elephant stir fry sauces every time i am home. Hoisin and Garlic, with chicken, peppers and leeks.
I would have cooked it today, but forgot to buy rice.
Wouldn't be so nice on toast.
To keep up with Nigel's shopping on the cheap. With today's money conversion. I bought 9 chicken fillets (not breasts, the fillets chop up nicely and are more tender) in Lidl for about three quid, and the leeks only cost me 50p. six of those chicken fillets are in the freezer.
I would presume leeks are like onions and can be stir fried. I do own a wok. I'll marinade the chicken bits in a bit of lemongrass, garlic and sunflower oil beforehand. And coriander. I also, sometimes, mix a small can of sweetcorn into the rice.
Gosh, almost my five a day!! I'll be buzzin' with wonderful vegetable energy!!

Cheese 'n onion pie I made recently.

A carbonara I made a while ago:
A traditional Italian carbonara does not have cream! All you need for the sauce are eggs, water from the pasta, a good cheese, and a little salt and pepper.
Cooked properly, you're laughing. No need to fuck about with sugar and all the other shite that gets put in it over here.

That cheese + onion pie looks up to the mark , infact would give Charlies pies a run for the money
Indian curry (sorry, partially eaten lol)...
Hey, you fellas use slow-cookers/pressure cookers over there?
I'm a big fan... really infuses the flavor and renders the meat so tender...

I have a pressure cooker, slow cooker, the small covection oven in post above and a large oven for big stuff like turkey. All used frequently.Originally Posted by NZdick1983

Just wait until I pull this little fooker out o' the oven in about 90 minutes!Originally Posted by nigelandjan
