I can understand buying water abroad, but I always drank tap water back home.
I have a guy here who comes around every couple of weeks with drinking water, Don't know if his maths are wrong or mine. But one of us is to blame for the drought and lack of rice here this year.

How long has she been in the UK even longer than my misses (2008) I believe??? When we arrived and I took a much needed drink out of the tap I remember my misses being shocked but upon being told she is no longer in a third world country and water is a basic human right and the 'stuff' that comes out the tap is fit for human consumption in this so called developed nation never an issue with drinking it, in fact if I remember she quite liked it. 1000 baht a month you will be paying for that, and for that you have a product that actually fails the set levels they promise. Also, their contracts usually now include a section saying they can charge you for rain water you collect in a butt, or pond... because it is THEIR water and they have the right to charge you for anything.
Here's a tip though - if you want water in your house, for free, then here is what you do. Write to your water supplier and ask for their information on the actual content guidelines they set for the water you pay for. Then, once they have sent this pie int he sky stuff, take a sample in a sterile bottle to a local university and get it tested for what is really in there. Then sent a copy of those results to the water company and say you will not pay them until they supply water within their safety limits as specified by them. It is simple tort law - they make a contract with you to supply water of a certain quality level, and they always fail it... without you knowing. They know this, and when you do this process, you keep the water on, and never receive a bill ever again.
Now, some might get the shits up about this, but please remember that water is actually a basic human right that was privatised to the highest bidder, and mostly now owned by large foreign industries. Secondly, watch out for the SNP who are thinking about floridation of water, and understand that it was used in concentration camps by the nazis to pacify and dumb down the inmates.
So enjoy your basic human right. Thailand is better - water is cheap and plentiful, and you can drink it from the tap, but running it through a filter first is advisable.

All that recycling is false economy.
Most of it should all go in land fill instead of transporting it all over the world impacting more on the environment with the carbon footprint.
