I was wondering if that bone was symbology of sorts?
Last night I feasted - with wild abandon - on the national food of Turkey.

Got a nice piece of pork leg from the local butcher yesterday ,, he wanted £13.60p for this piece , I haggled him down to a tenner if I bought 4 of his delicious sausages for £2.04p at the same time ,,, deal ! :)
It was early in the morning with no one else in the shop , he knows the characters I work for only give us a pay adjustment every 8 years or so ,,, so he just said " your a cheeky bastard now fk off ! "
I always like that personal touch you get in your local butchers as opposed to the big supermacado's :)

You know who ate all the crackling ,, I ate the meat
^Looks sensational Nigel, hard to beat a nicely cooked joint of pork hot, then cold on samidges, and I'll get one to throw in the oven sometime this week too. That's why this thread is so good, seeing what other people are eating gives off some good ideas for future dinners so thanks very much for posting that pic.
Thanks Headworx, much appreciated... :)Quote:

I cooked that lump for 3.5 hours @ 175 deg in a pre heated fan oven , just put a bit of salt on the skin before going in nothing else .

No plated pic tonight because it's boring, just steak and salad with a slice of bread and butter on the side.
Some will never adjust to any tolerant level.
Sad.
