It's ok if it goes a bit sideways sometimes.

I don't always consider the thread title when replying to a post.

I never forget what Forum I'm on though.

I'll post my dinner once I find a phone charger.

The tiny Thai from Tak, kept it as bald as Chitty's roof-rack.

    I'd guess.

Perhaps there was some dental floss for the drive home?

I like a bit of grass on the wicket myself. In fact, I can only think of one gik who was bald as a coot down there. A Nonthaburi lass.

The others were all nicely organised and trimmed though. Nothing too 1970s Razzle.

Same carpet as in the lounge slipper photo. Questionable cleanliness and vintage. Probably as old as the building!

She put down a spare quilt/doona to lie on though.

    So do I. Traditional style.

Tonight's dinner had to be spicy Thai so I rustled up some Tom Yum. No prawns in the freezer so I used seafood highlighter.

Anyway I went round their place after and did the stone on the window thing, even though her and her sister shared the same room (space even back then in Laaandaaan was tight). I got let in and we went to the bathroom and got to it.

Things went pear shaped when i used her name siobhan, all hell broke loose as it was actually mary the identical twin i was going out with.

Its fukin hard trying to exit a bathroom let alone a house with two women trying to attack you, the mum woke up, i suppose that fact their older brother who was 23 was still out was a bonus. Ended the relationship and i had to move flats rapido.
I missed this one earlier. Reminds me of getting into a scrape with a woman in Cambodia about 15 years ago.

Anyway, to cut a long story very short, I was in a hotel room with her in Snooky, after I'd been doing my best to avoid her, with two English blokes stalking around outside wanting to break my neck for being with her (one of them had the hots for her) and her trying to calm them down as I peered out of the vents above the bed.

Maybe there is room for a danger fuck thread for us all.

    Go on then.

Getting this thread back on track. Dinner at a decent Teppenyaki place (where they cook the food in front of you on a hot, flat grill) on the harbour.

Another learning exercise with the pressure cooker, this time with pulled chicken. A few chicken breast marinated overnight, then 10 minutes in the pressure cooker. Still amazed at how soft and tender the meat becomes, as indeed the chicken was on this occasion. Didn't even need to rest it before pulling apart.

Thickened the marinade into a sauce, and the chicken back into the cooker getting all mixed together. Also developing a taste for pineapple rice, this one with Jasmine rice, with garlic, ginger and sriracha sauce to give it some bite.

Actually going to be tomorrow's dinner. A simple Shepherds Pie which when cooked is going to sit in the fridge overnight for all the flavours to meld together.

A kilo of lamb mince getting browned in some olive oil.

Once browned, the excess fat drained off.

before adding grated onion and carrot.

Once the onion and carrot had started to soften, grated garlic added, then a couple of minutes later, a good spoonful of tomato paste.

A few good slugs of Worcestershire sauce before adding some chopped fresh Rosemary.

Just enough chicken stock to cover the meat put in, and brought to a simmer.

Once it had reduced slightly, the lamb into an oven dish and allowed to cool slightly.

The potatoes boiled and been through the ricer, getting mixed with a healthy injection of grated parmesan, and a couple of egg yolks.

Smoothed over the top of the lamb, roughed up with a fork, and another liberal grate of parmesan to finish things off.

25 minutes in the oven, and cooling ready to go in the fridge.

Maybe, however there's the obligatory Chitty 'butty' on the side.

I thought Razzle was the archetypal 70s porno.

I bow to your clearly superior knowledge of the top shelf though, Cy.

Tonight, the Shepherds Pie made yesterday, and as expected, that concentration of flavour that a night in the fridge produces. A great British classic (peas on the side are obligatory).

^ nothing about peas are obligatory when it comes to eating the devils pimples. The pie looks nice though, everything almost improves with a night in the fridge.
