Easy-peasy healthy(ish) chicken fajitas with yoghurt instead of sour cream or cheese.

I should have put cheese on top with the harissa. I'm still fucking starving.

The quintessentially British Sunday roast and pea soup starter.

Followed by an American double sticky toffee pud and custerd

Ain't that the problem. My uncle used to go on the piss in Swansea and loved Laverbread. He used to keep a 1/2 Lb in his suit pocket and would start on it when he got the munchies. This was the late 30's and apparently he used to turn up at home with a dark green face and a mess because the stuff soaked through the paper into his suit - gawd bless im, i'd be same if it was available to me.

Not sure if I see what is so "quintessentially British" about it, looks like a typical Sunday dinner in most parts of the world, but I agree that it looks good. Green owed.

Good effort but looks more like Italian Bread to me...

... that's how we label it when we make this style of bread.

This thread has just made me remember that I forgot to get anything out for dinner this morning.

Looks like bacon & eggs for dinner then.

^If anyone arcs up just tell them you're doing Keto where B&E is an acceptable meal at any time of the day.

    The breakfast cornerstone.

Hard for them to be not delicious in any form.

4 more sets of abs, biceps and back, then toasted croissant sandwiches with yup, bacon and eggs inside.

Yes, of course it is, Snubs.
In most parts of the world.

You need to get out more - removing yourself from everything and anything resembling or reflective of your Anglophone existence.

Do you have much success with that in Portland?

Do you encounter many people who will produce what you're looking for, and is it really served on glass tables?

I think it was Shakespeare' who said. "A bread by other name would taste as sweet"

Today we are attempting to make Italian Croissants . LOL
Yesterday we made the dough, and butter slab, rolled them together and let them sit in the refrigerator overnight.
So later today we we will try out luck at it.
Will post my triumph or abysmal failure later

I like to say that it looks good, but I would be lying
But I bet it tasted fantastic, and that's the important part.

It was alright, could have done with a medium rib eye to accompany it.
