Quite nice, might need something more? A sausage or a piece of fried bread or some mushrooms? But, cooked nicely, and for once, the first time ina very long while, you've managed to control your pepper hand!

^I'm not eating Carbs right now so bread (fried or otherwise) is out for a few weeks. 'Shrooms would have been nice, will grab some next shopping run as they're on the "get as many into you as you like" list along with things like eggs and bacon, not sure about Snags but will do some searching to see if they're ok or not. I need to buy pepper too, ran out this morning

Nice piece of meat with those perfect eggs. I have been craving french toast. Often a fast meal back home. Easy way to use up the baguette from the night before. Almost stale wheat bread for this. Absorbs more of the egg and cinnamon. Bacon goes so well with syrup.Breakfast-img_20190805_091315-jpg

One of the guests of our homestay last week asked for congee for breakfast on her second morning rather the English style breakfast we offer as standard. She asked late in the evening so we had no opportunity to get out and do some shopping. Was really quite proud of the wife pulling this together and the guest enjoyed it. Going to offer congee and boiled rice based breakfasts from the start of September.

Fried eggs, poached eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs all good but not with salad. Well maybe cold boiled eggs.

How long does it take to boil an egg in Thailand so that it is a perfect "donky" egg?

I have never seen it done properly in Thailand.

It's either hard boiled for hours or totally raw in minutes.

Ffs give me a couple of donky eggs, it only takes three minutes! !

    It's not rocket science !

    I'm not yolking either

Take two eggs from the fridge and allow them to near room temperature.
    Boil a pan of water
Place the eggs in the water and leave them on a timer for exactly 5 minutes on simmer.
Serve with toasted whole meal bread soldiers

Very healthy, civilized and British. Hahahahaha

I agree with salad being wrong with a breakfast menu. Too many food programmes. It's just dressing you cnuts.

Also, why do asian restaurants always give you a little pack of strawberry jam, even when bread/toast isn't part of your order? Weirdos.

Red sent to Norton, then once I've reloaded, another will be on the way...

In Korea, and I'm sure the Thai sandwiches are the same, seemingly inoffensive, even pleasant looking, sandwiches are consistently ruined by jam. Jam is for scones, not sandwiches. At the coffeeshop locally, I ask for the egg mayo sandwich without the... and they finish the sentence for me...
