They're open today . The place has had a bit of a facelift that looks quite good, I get the impression Nick will change this from a sports bar that has some food into a food bar that has some sports. What's he done with RH (once he put his cock back in his pants and knuckled down to business) is quite remarkable for a kiss-of-death location. He'll likely get a Sunday carvery and a larger range of daily specials going and bomb social media with updates and the place with thrive I feel. Anyway here's what it looks like inside now:
And seeing how this is the breakfast thread:
Just 1 bacon and 1 hash brown now, and the sausages have changed. Still top value with a cup off good brewed on the side for 99 Baht!. And as this was brunch, something cold was needed as a palate cleanser so the Minimart downstairs got raided for an appen pie and chok-chip icecream on the way home.
^ Is that place up Pratamnak Hill?
Sure I've been in there pissed up one Sunday
Just known as fried taters around these parts.
Any reason why? Very common in the US to have peppers in scrambled eggs and omelets. That plate happens two have three types of peppers in both the omelet and the taters. Anaheims, the red Thai chili's and jalapenos. All from my garden of course.
^^^
Looks decent.
I was hoping to get to SL myself today but had things to sort out in Wongamat including a pie drop from Loy Toy
Yeah thatll be it. Did it have an English owner before, maybe a Cockney
How rude.
Hey Mo, how about a 'What Are You Eating This Morning' thread?
Hey cy, obviously you're not getting any cawk or you wouldn't be here 24/7
...whacking into random online strangers....So sad.
Is your life really that sad.
Boohoohoo, cy the loser.
Enjoy.
Gravlox is on my list of things to attempt during the October break.
Anyone know what cafe will serve the best full English in bkk tomorrow morning?
If you're on Sukhumvit- The Black Swan, Suk 19, Chequers on Suk 4 is good too.
If you're in Silom - Molly Malones is now where The Pintsman was... if you fancy a knockout breakfast
If you really do want a cafe not pub, then London Pie in Ekamai used to be good
Cheers Dill.
Is MM open at about 8pm?
I heard it was being redeveloped or something.
It's the old 'Irish Exchange' and 'Shenanigans' isn't it?
The place has had more names than dragonfly94.
^ You want breakfast at 8pm?
I'm not sure about Malones tbh. I read about it last week on the other channel.
It also mentioned Hemingways is gonna be opening again on Soi 11.
Maybe leave Molly Malones mate, their website still has them in Soi Convent
Black Swan is easily walkable from Asoke BTS/MRT and is where I'd go.
Robin Hood do an Early Bird 99baht breakfast.
Or why not swank it up like Punty and Tom?
Download the eatigo app and you could be getting 50% off a double sausage with homemade salsa at The Lemoncurd Tearoom
Not British owned, of course, but I've always found the Kiwi Pub on Suk Soi 8 to be pretty good for western food and pub meals. Had the breakfast there a while ago and that was fine.
Good deals on beer too (opens at 7am if you're in need of a livener with your food )
