I don't know how anyone can eat cross-legged on the floor leaning forwards with your stomach collapsed. I got so fed up of this in Korea. I'd rather eat standing up, although I see you opted for a normal table. Looks delightful.

We had steak fajitas/tortillas/wraps/kebabs. What's the difference?

I thought I was in for a steak at first. (Grated cucumber didn't stink a bit)

    Lunch ... the second course-screen-shot-2022-02-07-13-a

A nice filler though with cucumber, onion, sesame dressing and lime

Some good food here. I love Wagyu it is true there really is nothing else like it. I have a rib-eye in the fridge, may have to do that next.

I was trying, perhaps unsuccessfully,to suggest that the pic I quoted was a more suitable version of a money shot on account of being more delicious looking.

Let’s compromise, with a double money shot. Any more and it’ll become the bukake shot.

Larb moo... I love the stuff.

In a rare act of affection the wife... ordered the gardener to pick up a portion from the local Isaan place.

I love it... and went for 'pet nitnoi' today and could just about handle it.

We were in the Phloen Chit area today and found this 'naaaaaaraaaakkk' chow mun gai place called Miss Hong. Not the biggest portions for 65baht but the soup and sauce is delicious.

Also in the area is Billy's Smokehouse which looks pretty good. Although I do not know how much you can trust a 'smokehouse' who also sells pastas and salads.

you cant be bitching about 2 bucks. Looks good. HKG was my first chicken rice, and I have loved it since. Good Thai sauce is the kicker though.

Poor Stumpy, such a great dish but he would see the meager portion of cucumbers and go running for the hills. " The smell, the smell"

Had a friend drop by early. He is a "wake and bake" kinda guy so about 10:00 am we got hungry. Neither felt like eggs, the wife is gone for the weekend and beef can be on the menu. Super steak sandwich was the solution.

You need a nice garlicy toasted roll

    Lunch ... the second course-1548162_10151843931376266_451410051_o-jpg

Then you fry up some mushrooms and onions.

    Lunch ... the second course-1557289_10151843932091266_2040152193_o-jpg

Get your steak on the roll.

    Lunch ... the second course-1658653_10151843933101266_1023754623_o-jpg

Add some onion gravy and crispy fries, no comments on the fries, all the store had and they were good.

    Lunch ... the second course-1557342_10151843935696266_1333047338_o-jpg

All that is now long gone!!

Roast chook and gravy sandwich (or is it a burger because it's on bread? ) and a tub of natural yoghurt with some honey added for afters.

That looks brilliant, the roll, the red onion, the pickles, the mayo! But I'm not seeing cheese or are you going to tell me that it's some weird American mayo cheese concoction?

    I'd murder it!

Is that wafer thin turkey ham on a wannabe sourdough roll with Coon cheddar, half a pickle and a smidgen of onion?

Let be honest here, if someone handed that over to you at Subway, you'd give em a round of fucks.

As a rule of thumb... If its not beef and you can eat it on Willy's balcony... it needs binning

Well, it wasn't Subway, but it hit the spot for me. Sometimes, simple rocks simply better. In fact most times, simple is usually better. Embrace simplicity!

Generally speaking, it sells better too.
