You forgot Kuwait invaded by Saddam which kicked off Desert Storm...

I think you left a few countries of the list as it was a joint effort correct?
Just curious, how do you feel about sovereign countries who's leaders kill thousands of there own people, abuse and rape their women, and attack there neighbors with chemical weapons.

You do know that there is no treaty of alliance between the US and Israel right, unlike say, Pakistan?Originally Posted by RPETER65

Since we were talking about the "US presence in the Middle East", one assumed you weren't talking about the "coalition of the willing".
And Saddam's actions against his own people didn't trigger the invasion, or they would have finished off the job in '91.
In fact you must be one of the few people left on the planet that doesn't know it was the US that supplied Saddam with the materials to make his chemical weapons knowing that they would get used.
Here they are sealing the deal.

Your link doesn't seem to work you have anything better?
So you don't care to share your feelings about sovereign nations that kill thousands of there own people but you are first in line to bad mouth the U.S. every chance you get.
Who said Saddams action against his own people triggered the invasion, not me I was just interested in how you felt about detestable tyrants that kill there own people at will.

^ That's right, they are Brothers in Arms.

I previously tried posting a reply to this as you can see the text did not show up.
I was not connecting the invasion of Iraq with Saddams horrible human rights record only wondering how feel about that type of leader.
Yes I am unaware of any proof of the U.S. Providing Saddam withe means of producing chemical weapons. If you have this proof I would certainly like to see it.
Tried your link to the video, it did not work.

OH my coming from you of all people.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

No the clowns pushing a "narrative" are not liberal.
Ahh the fantasy world. We on the left do not rely on right wing spinsters to provide us with the official party line. We do not take marching orders from right wing blogs, fox news, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and other right wing muckrakers who spew commentary laced with deception, dogma and decidedly lacking facts.Originally Posted by RPETER65

If it is an alternative reality it has beenTHE reality since the writing of the Constitution, and I for one like the freedoms that is written into it! unlike you and your kind who will sell out at the mention of a govt? hand out. What do you propose when the money runs out and all freedom is gone.
The money won't run out if you stop giving it to your rich buddies and corporations and instead put it in the pockets of people who will spend it.
That's what grows the US economy, not all these greedy, thieving bastards who buy Congressmen and then trouser all the cash they can carry.
Aided of course by that fucking ridiculous propaganda channel....

You get your information from biased poisoned sources they are pouring nonsense into your brain. What part of that do you not understand?
Why is it that it is always right wingers waving the Constitution around when they no absolutely nothing about it?

Why is it you continually make statements that you in no way can back up, you have no idea what I know about the constitution, you have done this on previous occasions but when you are faced with the facts you just seem to slip away into the shadows.
Yes I do wave the constitution around because it is the only thing that has kept the U.S. together and people like you seem to feel the need to constantly trample on it.
Tell me what information is it that I get from biased poisoned sources, and what exactly are these sources.
