I don't see what difference invading Iraq makes to that lot.

The ones that profited directly from the invasion were the likes of Halliburton, KBR and the defence contractors.

Aside from the fact that the biggest earners were the bank that own the privately owned Fed, the media corporations don't just own media corporations. Besides, more war means more media frenzy means more advertising revenue from the funders of war...
