It's the same nationwide. There is going to be some pent-up demand for workers. The banks need to start lending all that money we gave them, but mainly, housing and construction are the big issues. Part of that could be helped by much-needed infrastructure spending, but the Republicans are afraid of anything that might help Obama, country be damned. The governors used to act independently of party according to what was good for their states, but the Republican governors now are mostly good little Party members, taking orders from the Central Committee. The analogy with the Soviets is deliberate.
