Ted Cruz? Seriously?! Never mind the fact that he's in the Senate and not the House

The Rethuglican Tea Bag senator from the shithole state of Texas?

The guy so unpopular for his efforts to scuttle the Hurricane Sandy relief bill that fellow Republicans refuse to be seen with him?

A relief bill, which, by the way, ended up passing both the house and the senate despite Cruz's cynical efforts to kill it.

Yeah, he'd make a great speaker! Just what the GOP needs!

Ted Cruz, a guy so unpopular that he's even managed to alienate his own support base back in Texas-

Head Ni**er in Charge (from a right-winger) what a lovely statement to make about the head of the RNC.

the GOP's new Outreach program: Did Daily Caller just call RNC chair the n-word?

Ten Signs A Scandal Isn't Going Away:

    1. The White House refers questions about possible perjury back to the accused’s own department.

    2. You throw a spin session and major media outlets won’t show up.

    3. Even Democrats want a special prosecutor. (“A Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday shows 76 percent want a special counsel to 17 percent opposing. The idea has strong support across all parties, with 88 percent of Republicans, 63 percent of Democrats and 78 percent of independents calling for a special prosecutor.”)

    4. Even Vice President Biden knows to stay out of sight. (Where’s he been the last couple of weeks?)

    5. It is hard to tell House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia (“lost focus,” “disconnected”) from New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd (“wistful and petulant aren’t getting him anywhere”).

    6. Losing on gun legislation is the least of his worries.

    7. Conservatives love watching Jon Stewart these days.

    8. Headlines from the New York Times (“Holder Faces New Round of Criticism After Leak Inquiries”) are interchangeable with headlines from Right Turn.

    9. Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley isn’t nuts to consider a presidential run in 2016.

    10. Eric Holder has become less credible than Jay Carney.

What’s Wrong With The GOP — By A Republican Who Gets It

"Republicans have been trying to figure out why they did so miserably. Bobby Jindal said what a lot of people were thinking by suggesting the GOP needed to stop being “the stupid party.” Karl Rove, who didn’t back one winning candidate in the recent election, is blaming the Tea Party for promoting extreme, unelectable candidates."

No wonder the GOP has no future-

Republican Base Heavily White, Conservative, Religious

Democrats are more likely to be moderate or liberal, Hispanic, or black or other races

More than 6 in 10 Republicans today are white conservatives, while most of the rest are whites with other ideological leanings.

    Two signs a 'scandal' is a non-story:

    1. Booners posts pages of irrelevant and baseless links about it.

    2. Mr. Earl keeps popping up to fist bump him.

No country for angry old white men: the GOP's diminishing demographic

Unless the Republican party embraces diversity and renews its appeal to Americans of color, it faces gradual extinction,

"a few sprinkles of chocolate and caramel don't change the overall flavour: Republicans are still vanilla. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showed that among African Americans, Mitt Romney polls at 0%. Yes, zero. That doesn't mean absolutely no black people will vote for him: former presidential candidate and pizza king Herman Cain says he will. So do Representative Allen "Democrats are Communists" West, of Florida, and Texas Congresswoman Stefani Carter, who has just been named to Romney's "Black Leadership Council." But the poll data mean that very, very few African Americans, fewer than the poll's 3% margin of error, support Romney. "

    Are you completely retarded?

Aware of hearing/depositions/subpoenas re Obama's cornucopia of Scandals?

Probably not as Media Matters doesn't report that stuff, eh?

The Buck Stops Where? - YouTube

The GOP has compiled an impressive collection of recent “don’t remember, can’t recall, wasn’t aware and I don’t think that was me” claims from various members of the Obama administration as it concerns the IRS investigation.

^what you are labeling are scandals are what sane people call investigations. And nobody in the White House is hiding anything in fact it was the White House that called for the IRS investigation.

This strange Republican fascination with scandal-mongering is showing the voting public how petty and vindictive the GOP has become. Rather than do their jobs and legislate, they Republicans seem more interested in partisan, political witch hunts and a desperate search for conspiracies and cover-ups that don't exist.

BTW, how's the Umbrella-gate investigation coming along?

Well, it appears even a 'Brother' gets it:

Black Louisiana Democrat assails party, joins GOP

"Democratic state Sen. Elbert Guillory said Friday he is leaving “the party of disappointment” to join the ranks of Republicans. With the move, the Opelousas conservative becomes the only black Republican in the Louisiana Legislature. Guillory made the announcement as he received the Frederick Douglass Award at a national conference of black conservative leaders in Baton Rouge. Douglass escaped from slavery and became a leader in the abolitionist movement in 19th century America."

By aligning himself with the GOP, Guillory becomes the first black Republican in the Louisiana State Senate since reconstruction.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus gave a blistering assessment of the GOP’s problems on Monday based on the results of a months-long review, and he called on the party to reinvent itself and officially endorse immigration reform.
Referring to the November election, Priebus said at a breakfast meeting: “There’s no one reason we lost. Our message was weak; our ground game was insufficient; we weren’t inclusive; we were behind in both data and digital; and our primary and debate process needed improvement.”

    BUT

"some conservative pundits have already voiced strong opposition to the call for immigration reform."

Source: Reince Priebus gives GOP prescription for future

LMAO, who's in charge at the GOP?!

Will they ever get their shit together and come up with a plan to save the party and offer a coherent vision for the future?

Reckon I'd have voted for Ike. They don't make Republicans like this anymore.

Ike was old school Republican, before they began the "southern strategy" that has brought them to where they are today.

President Eisenhower believed in Social Security, labor unions, equality, public education and other social benefits.

GOP are just in the doldrums like the Conservative party was during the the BLiar years. They will do exactly the same as happened in the UK, in the US. Obama is the Us's Bliar. Cool, trendy, fashionable, the brands more important than what he says or does. Hilary will step in next after an election between Her and some fecking ogre like Jed Bush who will campaign on Death Penalty all over the US, compulsory abortions for non christrian people....you know, just unelectable. After one term of hillary by default (Gordon Brown) at which point the arse will fall out of the economy again when Germany finally let slip that the US has a month to give them their gold back or else (7 yrs the Fed wanted to return it, remember, so the timing is perfect) and Hillary will lose to which ever Young fresh faced Republican Obama look alike that GOP create in the next 4 years.

You read it here first folks - there is the future of US politics. Call me crazy if you like, but I expect if you do, you will have to find Pseudolus on which ever forum I am on in 7 years times, PM me and say "fuck me, you were right".

Oh and in case you were wondering, Bush Jnr was your Thatcher.

The biggest joke is that while all this is blatantly happening, we've got to listen to some right wing crazies bleating 'Obama is a socialist who wants to fundamentally transform America'.

Jeez, the Obama Presidency has been considerably more right wing than Eisenhower ever was. What can you say about a government that gets the banks (in this case, specifically Citibank) to write a massive Bank bailout bill? The only 'fundamental transformation' of America that is happening is back to the robber baron era, and that has already been put in place.
