As has been pointed out, Russian missiles can take out the whole Ukrainian power grid in less than 24 hours. The recent demonstration of power, following the attack on the Kerch bridge, was exactly that- a demonstration. Ukrainian losses are far more than is being admitted. When I do not know- and it is clear that their American puppetmasters do not care about Ukrainian lives- but at some stage Ukraine will be forced to talk peace. They cannot win a war of attrition, given the will in Russia, their far greater numbers, their quite surprisingly buoyant economy, and their capacity to disable the whole of Ukraine. Better sooner than later, I would think.
^ ...and the Swedes. Are they all training the same 10,000?
Yes; that is obvious and admitted too.
Makes one wonder if the Ukraine war isn't such a serious subject, that it deserves to be treated ....seriously ?
A thread where childish shitposting was minimized.
A thread where Sabang's theories of Russia being provoked into the invasion could be discussed.
If Putin has problems with his sanity.
If Zelensky has
What could the solutions for this tradegy be
etc
This would require competence that our current mods
doesn't have.
But we do have posters with insight and intellect.
Sabang,Troy, PH, Norton etc
What do you say ?
Give the adults a go.

It's a joint allied programme based in the UK, an extension of Op Obrital started in '15 which has trained over 20K so far.
The UK has committed £2.3 billion in military assistance to Ukraine thus far and has made a pledge to match that assistance in 2023. The UK is also hosting a training programme, supported by a number of allies, with the aim of training 10,000 new and existing Ukrainian personnel within 120 days.

Some international press opinions:
What do foreigners think about Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure?
The largest single salvo of Russian missiles in recent months by the NMD yesterday morning and the continuation of strikes today caused a stir in a foreign telegram:
"American journalist Oliver Martin believes that the new strikes should demonstrate the following:
➖ The minimum number of casualties and the absence of significant damage to civilian objects speaks of the high effectiveness of Russian strikes.
➖ The duration of the strikes testifies to Russia's significant stock of precision-guided weapons, as well as the ability to quickly reproduce them, which disproved the belief of many that Russian missiles allegedly ran out in March.
▪️ Even according to the official data of Ukraine, 12 people died during the shelling. Therefore, with all the desire, it is impossible to present another shocking picture for the Western audience. Although the media, of course, are trying very hard.
The Za PraVda channel is surprised that loud condemnations of shelling are heard even from Bulgaria - in a country where they officially announced that they would not supply weapons to Ukraine. At the same time, Bulgarian weapons have already been repeatedly found in the combat zone, and even suppliers have been traced .
Despite the predictable first reaction of European leaders, according to the Italian journalist Rosella Fidanza , it is not only Ukraine that will face the consequences of Russian strikes, since electricity exports to the EU have stopped today.
The channel @italiazforzaverita , continuing the thought of the difficulties for the EU, notes that in the press, occasionally, but thoughts about “the inadmissibility of the economic domination of the United States against the background of the weakening of Europe” and, perhaps, with the onset of winter and protests due to prices for communal apartments, they will get louder. However, it is unlikely that even the complete destruction of the Ukrainian energy system will force the European elites to retreat, so you should not count on it.
The French channel ActualiteFR expressed its share of skepticism regarding Russian strikes, which are still perceived as a symmetrical response to Ukrainian shelling and look limited. However, there has been a clear demonstration that even a few missiles can bring down Ukrainian infrastructure if the right vulnerable targets are chosen.
The Spanish channel Vakulinchuk . The systemic continuation of strikes is necessary, because Ukraine will definitely continue to make attempts to strike back and accumulate forces for new attacks. The dispatch of mercenaries from NATO and the training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on stream, which means that the longer Russia delays destroying all Ukrainian logistics, the more people will die on the battlefield.
The French analytical channel Terra Bellum believes that Russia is playing for time until November-December, when the mobilized troops will be ready for a counteroffensive.
The strikes on infrastructure deep in the country are designed to paralyze the Ukrainian command, disrupt the operation of electric locomotives, communications and the movement of troops for offensives in the south, in addition to the already accumulated fatigue of Ukrainian soldiers who carried out a successful offensive against Russian positions a few weeks ago.
Analyst Pepe Escobar opined that Russian strikes are an "incentive" to force NATO into negotiations and a good means to finally deprive Kiev of the ability to wage war. The key question is how the White House will react to this and whether they will decide to raise rates there.
We saw the answer this afternoon from statements about the supply of new air defense systems to Ukraine. German IRIS-Ts have already arrived , NASAMS are expected soon. This means that while the Ukrainian command did not have time to qualitatively strengthen air defense, it is time to move on to priority targets , for example, 750 kV substations, which we, together with RT, analyzed in detail earlier."

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
^ The first of 4. Delivery delays appear to be due to manufacture rather than any political reason. Not sure how effective they will be, depends what other defence systems they are used with.
Boris committed through Operation Interflex to training 10,000 Ukrainian troops every 120 days.
UK to offer major training programme for Ukrainian forces as Prime Minister hails their victorious determination - GOV.UK
All reminiscent of the v1 and v2 attacks on London in ww2. Another case of a desperate dictator attempting to win a lost war. Didn't work Vlad.
Sabang and the Russians want you to think all is well with the Crimean bridge. It isn't. Click on the link below to see the massive backups at the ferry terminal...
2nd ORDER EFFECTS:@bayraktar_1love
reports that the wait time for vehicles on the Crimea ferry is now 3-4 days. This strongly implies that there is additional unseen damage to the road deck of the RU bound lanes of the Kerch Bridge. This will further strain RU logistics.
https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/...30919306502151According to Russian-appointed head of Crimea, waiting at the ferry crossing in Crimea takes about 3-4 days. And there are about 900 trucks in line at the moment.
https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/...25856504414208New photos of Crimean bridge were published. It’s visible that the second road is a bit wobbly
Now the most damming piece of evidence. Look at the base of the bridge I am not a structural engineer, but that does not look repairable to me...

Zelensky’s office announced explosions at “critical infrastructure” facilities in the Kiev region. An air raid was announced.
Putin wanted a limited war with negotiations. He really wanted to avoid a full on American style war. But it wasn't to be. The Kiev govts sponsors instructed him not to negotiate. So the country will be destroyedWhat a shame
It can still be stopped- but I don't think that is what uncle sam wants.

Meanwhile the beatings, murders, rapes and destruction continue.
Russian and Ukrainian people are dying.
It’s not a game of chess.
