That was sensible up to about the 7 min mark up till the comment by Ritter that the recent mobilization of Russian civilians would change the war.
I stopped watching at that point.
But it's good to view a lot of different sources for the media and then make a valued judgement as it's it authenticity and bias
I agree with these observations.
With all the bridges blown the several thousand Russian forces north of Kherson are trapped by the water to the right (east) and the counter attacks by Ukraine from the north and the west.
The only real option is a gradual retreat to the south, to Kherson.
But it will be a slow retreat because Russia has blown the bridges as it retreats and that slows the advance of then Ukrainian Military.
The dirt fields are still solid enough for tanks etc ... untill the Autumn rains come.
Russia has built large defense lines around Kherson and it's natural for the retreating Russian forces to hold up there.
But Winter is coming and Russian logistics have been shown to be crap.
Without supplies, the trapped troupes in Kherson will be cold and hungry.
Maybe they just surrender the City around December.
Kherson will be a slow death for everyone, troops and the poor civilians who are also trapped in the City.
There will be no Christmas in Kherson this year.
Usual ad hom trash. This is what passes for criticism with our bonehead contingent on TD. Jacques Baud is very astute, well worth reading.
^ So you hope. Time will tell. A trebling of the size of the Russian army operating in "Ukraine" does not seem such small beer to me.

Ukraine’s new offensive is fuelled by captured Russian equipment amid military advances in the eastern part of the country.
The weapons aiding Kyiv’s arsenal include abandoned Russian tanks, howitzers & infantry fighting vehicles.
The equipment is quickly scrubbed of Russia’s Z war symbol and repainted with Ukrainian crosses, per the Wall Street Journal.
Same sort of simian logic as "Yugoslavia is Yugoslavian". Another view:-
"The territory of Ukraine is a mosaic of other people’s lands. If we want to stop this insane war and ensure peace in Europe, instead of calling Russia’s sponsored referendum in Eastern Ukraine a sham, we should conduct an honest referendum in all the disputed territories under the auspices of the UN and let the people decide what government they want."

Project much? It fits your MO, after all. You will be pleased to know that the Ukrainians caught the Russians with their pants down again and attacked Shaykovka Air Base in the Kaluga Oblast, destroying two TU-22M3 strategic bombers. Sit back in your basement and think about that.
Ukrainian Kamikaze Drone Attacks Bomber Base Deep In Russia (Updated)

David Stockman doesnt get to make the rules. Ukrainian land is Ukraine and any separation can only be voted on by the whole Ukrainian population to be a legal referendum.

Not like Scotland, Quebec, and Northern Ireland then? Or Yugoslavia.any separation can only be voted on by the whole Ukrainian population to be a legal referendum.![]()

I think that's pretty close to the truth. We saw the panic last time they blew up an airfield. Once Kherson is taken they will not be too long in getting to Crimea unless the rains slow progress. In any case they will be in range of Ukrainian artillery and I expect Russian logistics and military depots will be targeted in Crimea. That should cause further panic and mass migration over the bridge once the Russian civilians find out how bad their russian military protectors really are. No doubt this will come as a great shock when they see what is happening on the ground is light years away from their nightly dose of russian TV propaganda. The vulnerability of that bridge is such that the UMF can take it out at their leasure.
Ethnic cleansing. Noice. Is this your Final Solution?

Scotland has already had a referendum and Quebec even though it is only a province has had two and Yugoslavia has already separated into separate countries basically along ehnic regions, albeit not so peacefully. The Day will come for Northern Ireland one day. Most likely when there is overwhelming support.
Nice try at obfuscation though, but you're not in ohoh's class yet.
I read nothing into what HC wrote above that implies 'Ethnic cleansing'
"mass migration over the bridge" is not my definition of Ethnic cleansing.
If they are Ukrainian Citizens I would presume they have a right to remain and reside in the country in which they are a national.
That is what your Russian buddies are engaging in with their filtration camps, Mass kidnappings of Ukrainian children and many other horrid crimes. Your utter hypocrisy is once again boiling over.
It is one of his specialties, along with a bad case of whataboutism.
You've gotta collective bad case of "Oh no, this is not Yugoslavianism". Course not, totally different. Only we can dictate borders. I advocate for the Peoples right of self determination, while you hypocritically call yourself democratic.
Free and fair Referenda would be, well, Free and Fair. Let the People decide.
