It was just regurgitation of Kremlin talking points. The same talking points they supplied after being defeated in Kyiv. They lose in a specific campaign and come back and say "well it was never part of the battle plan in the first place." Total rubbish.

The reality is that there has been heavy fighting in the outskirts of Kharkiv for the last two weeks. I have been monitoring it and posting here about it the entire time. The fact that some propagandist shill posts a video claiming that the battles never happened is utter idiocy at an epic level. The fighting has been well documented over the last couple of weeks, as I stated before. The result was a Russian defeat and a full retreat in that area. That video was just smoke and mirrors to deflect from that reality.

Not to mention that the person has been exposed as an anti-west conspiracy theorist, who doesn't even have the courage to post under his real name.

If the purpose was to tie up enemy forces, I'd say that it has served it's purpose well.

Was it the same outside Kiev, or was the intention to capture the city and use it in a trade off ?

Who knows ? Except Bsnub ofcourse

Ukraine has scored a series of successes since Russia began its invasion, making rapid gains to drive invading forces from the second biggest city, Kharkiv.

Now some of the surrounding villages are slowly opening up.

Greece says ready to welcome Finland, Sweden in NATO

ATHENS, May 14 (Reuters) – Greece fully supports Sweden’s and Finland’s plans to join NATO, its foreign minister said on Saturday.

“Greece has excellent relations with these two countries, which are also members of the European Union,” Nikos Dendias said in Berlin where he will attend an informal NATO ministers meeting.

“The Greek side has a very clear stance (on the matter), we are ready to welcome Sweden and Finland to the NATO family, we believe they have much to offer,” he said.

A day after Russia’s northeastern neighbour Finland committed to applying to join NATO, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde said membership for her country would have a stabilising effect and benefit countries around the Baltic Sea.

Joining the 30-nation Western military alliance would end the neutrality the two states maintained throughout the Cold War. It would further the expansion of NATO that Russian President Vladimir Putin said his invasion of Ukraine aimed to prevent.

Moscow has said Finland’s entry to NATO poses a threat to which it will respond, but it has not specified how.

Sweden, Finland NATO Bids Are ‘Grave Mistake’ – Russia

Russia warned Monday that decisions by Finland and Sweden to join the NATO military alliance were serious mistakes and Moscow would take measures.

"This is another grave mistake with far-reaching consequences," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters.

"The general level of military tensions will increase," he was quoted as saying by Russian news agencies.

"It is a pity that common sense is being sacrificed for some phantom ideas about what should be done in the current situation."

Ryabkov said the two countries' security would not strengthen as a result of the move and that Moscow would take measures.

"They should have no illusions that we will just put up with this," he said.

Finland and Sweden are poised to jettison decades of military non-alignment to join NATO as a defense against feared aggression from Russia.

Moscow has warned Finland, with which it shares a 1,300-kilometer (800-mile) border, that it would take "reciprocal steps."

Finnish President Sauli Niinisto spoke with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Saturday about the country's application for NATO membership.

The Kremlin said Putin viewed any end to Finland's military neutrality as a "mistake."

Finland announced its intention to join NATO on Sunday as Sweden's ruling party said it backed membership, paving the way for a joint application.

Ukraine forces in Kharkiv push through to Russian border — live updates

The battle the propagandist lemmings are now claiming never happened...

Ukrainian forces reportedly reached the Russian border in a successful counterattack on the now-abandoned Kharkiv frontline. Ukrainian units have spent the last week or more pushing north and east from the besieged city, working to knock the Russians out of artillery range to protect the city. The Kharkiv front is the latest Russian attack axis to collapse after abandoning advances north of Kyiv, in Chernihiv, and Sumy in early April. Ukraine's second-largest city, Kharkiv was a major Russian objective on Day 1 of the war and has endured near constant artillery, ground and air attack since Russian armor first advanced from across the border in Belgorod. The front's collapse after having thrown the kitchen sink at the city is nothing short of stunning.

A Ukrainian victory north and east of Kharkiv proper means troops can focus on attacking the Izyum salient, where Russian forces remain committed toward Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.

This is a fantastic video that I am about to post. It shows amazing Ukrainian resolve and reinforces the fact that they are winning the war of attrition.

With proper airpower from NATO this war would be over in a couple of days at best. Russia is a total joke.

Allow me to forward your sharp analysis to my government.

They are about to raise our millitary budget by billions, but it seems that it according to you, isn't needed.

Hope you are right(there is a first for everything).

PS: Give Berlin the heads up too

(don't mention Hitler and conventional wars)

Cringe. This whole thread has been overtaken by cringe. You are getting far too high on your own supply.

The US ended it's air campaign in Syria the same week that the Russian S-400 system showed up. Which culminated in the end of the war.

The US is sanctioning allies who try and buy the system (Turkey, India , soon Iraq)

But yes. A completely deluded airhead like yourself thinks that the US air force could just waltz around in Ukraines skies.
    Test tessstttt

Ukraine has no more oil refining capacity, the last of three refineries has now been taken out- about the only oil that can get in now is via Soviet era rail from Moldova, and even that is vulnerable- a single rail line. Already seeing long lines at petrol stations. They are certainly putting up some stern resistance, but this will really hamper their war effort and capacity. What can they & Nato do?

As usual, you have no idea what you are talking about. The US Air force is vastly superior to the archaic Russian Air Farce which has been exposed as totally incompetent in this war. The Russians have failed to gain even air superiority, and the Ukrainians are wrecking havoc with drones and planes.

But you said all the drones were all shot down in the first three days of the war. Clown.

The Ukrainian military has all the fuel it needs. They will be just fine. The civilians will have to make do. It is wartime, after all.
