Hot take from a pro-Russian racist.
Your view. Mine as i have stated is that he's trodden lightly and is waiting for most of the women and children to leave the theatre, those male civilians left will be considered conscripts and fair game. The next week will see a big escalation and i fear a lot of casualties on the Ukrainian side. There will be no "Winner or Loser" here just death.
That is not how the Russians wage war. Did you even read my post at all? Putin doesn't care about civilian casualties, and it is common sense that it is going to ramp up, there is a convoy mile long coming towards Kyiv.

I think Putin committed his conscripts to soak up the main defenses before bringing in the professionals to mop up. That said, he did use some special forces to take airfields and cause havoc in the cities.
I haven't heard much about the air war but expect Russia to have gained it before moving that column of armour.

The European Union is preparing a fourth package of sanctions against Russia because of its military operation in Ukraine, said Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg.
According to him, on Friday, March 4, a special meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the EU member states with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will take place.
Schallenberg noted that the new anti-Russian sanctions would affect major Russian businessmen, the so-called oligarchs. The diplomat did not specify which persons will be discussed.

'Facing abnormal cash outflows': Russia's largest lender Sberbank quits European market - Business Newsussia's largest lender Sberbank said on Wednesday it is quitting the European market after the West imposed economic sanctions on Russia over the invasion. The bank said its European subsidiaries are facing "abnormal cash outflows".
The Russian economy is teetering on the edge of collapse as Western nations continue to impose sanctions in response to Moscow's brutal invasion of Ukraine.
The sanctions target several sectors of the Russian economy, including the oligarchs who are widely viewed as helping prop up the Putin regime.
The banking sector, in particular, has been badly hit, as major commercial banks are removed from the international system of global money transfer (SWIFT) which prevents them from participating in the global economy.
Some analysts say this could be the beginning of the worst financial crisis to hit Moscow since the fall of the Soviet Union.

The UK government is open to removing Russia as one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council following the invasion of Ukraine, Prime Minister Boris Johnson's spokesman said Tuesday.
"I think it's something we want to discuss with the UN obviously," the spokesman, who speaks on condition of anonymity, told reporters.
"There are the mechanisms in place for that which are well established," he said, adding that Johnson had yet to stake out a position himself on the question.
"What is right to say is that we want to see Russia isolated diplomatically, and we will consider all options to achieve that."
Britain is also one of the five permanent members alongside Russia, the United States, China and France.
The five are meant to guarantee international peace and security, but Russia stands accused of trashing the UN rulebook with its offensive on Ukraine.
