So, from above ... what are the scenarios?

They ain't going to bomb what they want to hold/capture.
So tick off the Donbas area and the Ukrainian south coast from the Russian to the Moldovan border (Black Sea border)

    None of the NATO Countries

Maybe a major City near Poland? Lviv? I hope not ... it's an ancient, beautifull City.

Maybe a test fire over the Arctic? One of the many small islands in the Arctic ocean?

... or someone takes the mad cnut out.

This is what the Pope said:

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Francis reflected on Russia’s lethal aggression toward its neighbor and said while he might not go as far as saying NATO’s presence in nearby countries “provoked” Moscow, it “perhaps facilitated” the invasion.

    better yet:

The pope also told Italy's Corriere Della Sera newspaper that Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church, who has given the war his full-throated backing, "cannot become Putin's altar boy".

Yes you are in good company because you are a great altar boy

The 3x Stooges will love it.

Putin's TV station shocks with a nuclear attack simulation on Berlin, Paris and London.

War in Ukraine - new level of escalation: A Russian state broadcaster has broadcast a simulation showing what a Russian nuclear attack on Europe could look like. London, Paris and Berlin were the main destinations.
Launch in Kaliningrad: After 202 seconds in London

As was further explained in the program, a nuclear missile of the "Sarmat" type would hit Berlin after only 106 seconds, it would take 200 seconds to Paris and 202 seconds to London. To this it was said: "There would be no survivors."
"The British Isles will be no more"

The chairman of the nationalist Rodina party, Alexey Zhuravlyov, was a guest on the show. "One Sarmat missile and the British Isles will be no more." When asked by the moderator, he underlined his statement and said that he was "serious".

Shouldn't surprise that it's all come to this and don't even have to disguise their manipulative ways any longer.
What shouldn't be a surprise as well are the hangers-on, defenders and apologists of the purposeful convention go on as if nothing is wrong the picture[s].
It does come back to bite the deluded illusionists just as it does the masses.

It's been "dragging on" for what- three months now? That seems such a long time, compared to the wars in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Timor etc- dunnit? No, it hasn't been a long time at all. All that has really changed is the nature of the media coverage. I sure hope not, but it might be dragging on for quite a while yet...

Russian invasion of Ukraine, for continually changing justifications, is not comparable to any of the conflicts mentioned in your post.
I suspect you knew that, but you were trying to drag the discussion in yet another direction as usual!

My point was simple swish. In war terms, no it has not been dragging on for a long time. And considering that the 'team' that you so vocally support obviously wish to prolong it, I really do not see what your issue or complaint with that is.

^^ All you are really saying is that 'their' propaganda is Wrong (and slanderous?), but 'our' propaganda is Right snubs. As you well know, I like to hear both sides of a story. Compare the bullshit, if you like. Might even be some shinola to be found under that pile of shit.

^ That is somewhat of an opinion piece too, but whatever.
