DrB0b, you are talking bollix. I received my card a week or so ago. It took 16 days to arrive. It came via Holland. I shall have great pleasure tomorrow in posting a picture of my Poll Card with my Thai address clearly printed on it.
Who are you going to show your card to when you vote? You do know that as long as you're on the electoral register no card is actually required? The card just shows your entry on the register and if you're registered a card is automatically sent to your registered addreds before every election/referendum you're entitled to vote in. A polling card is not required to vote (that's normally plainly stated in the card itself), being registered is.

If peewit is registered he doesn't need a card to vote. Clearly the loudmouth hypocrite hasn't even bothered to register. He was probably too busy indulging in mouth-to-mouth combat with ISIS.

Doubt that the logistics of us TD members voting is going.to impact significantly in the referendum. Maybe better sticking to the issues at hand on either side?

Nigel Farage Vs. David Cameron In Brexit ‘Debate’
could not be bothered to watch it, looked today to see who won, only to find out it wasn't a debate at all , just the too answering audience questions .
Cameron was too chicken for that.

    EU vote registration deadline extended
computer went down for 2 hours so they extend the registration for 2 days..
According to the government's data website, 525,000 people applied to register to vote during the day - 170,000 were aged 25 to 34, 132,000 under the age of 25 and 100,000 aged 35 to 44.
in other words its extended so more young , pro European voters can get their lazy asses to register.
    the whole thing stinks .

As does why the government hasn't come out and proposed plans how to best deal with an exit , even if they disagree with it .

Why? Discussing the issues and then not voting is nothing more than masturbation. It's a vote. Voting is what it's about.

It's not a special registration. It's everyday normal registration on the electoral registar. Special arrangements are being made to allow those lazy bastards who didn't register during the normal registration period to register now. It's being extended so useless fucks like piwanoi have the chance to put their money where their mouth is although dumb cunts like him STILL won't do that.

I did my bit from here in Thailand cos I "persuaded" 11 of my family members on Skype that voting to stay in was an act of treason etc etc ,it seems to have worked a treat cos they are now all dyed in the wool brexit supporters.

Why Bother , all he's on here for is to take the piss and try and belittle fellow members, a constructive debate does not come into his equation ,he does so cos the Mods for reasons best known to themselves allow him to do so day in day or out .

The post here is non existent, I often get my monthly true TV magazine a month late ,and my monthly bill for my true TV and Computer hardly ever arrives so much so that I pay 12 months in advance to save being cut off, I have had it out with Jan a few times to go and complain to the PO at Prakonchai , but you know what they are like it was my birthday May 4th, all my kids sent me a card plus my 3 sisters sent a joint one , I got them June 2!!!

You're just a lazy windbag who couldn't be arsed to register and print out the voting form even though it takes less than 5 minutes. Hypocrite!
HTF do you know every ones got a printer?, I know I ain't for one and never had one as I have no use for one , maybe I should have bought one 12 years ago in readiness for the EU vote eh

I can't show my card to vote cuz I'm here. Yes I know I don't have to show the card. But why send it to me at my Thai address when knowing that I no longer reside there. Why not just send a 'postal vote' application?

Good luck to the Brits if they want to go it alone, same case if they don't. Democracy. They're entitled to demand changes to European treaties if their populace want them. Judging by the combined Tory/Ukip vote at the last election it would appear that is the case.

Britain like them or not are far more than an "average nation". This argument about Britain being the same as any old nation with the same population is nonsense. They've a massive economy, a permanent seat on the UNSC (one of only five countries in the world) and nuclear weapons.

They're still a very powerful country. I'll be the first to argue about the behaviour of Britain when it comes to historical issues in Ireland, though let's not pretend they're comparable to any of the other EU28.. whatever. That might grate with some people but the odds of Britain standing a lot longer into the future than the EU are certainly favourable.
.....Plus i do think it's inevitable Ireland may have to ‘review’ its EU membership if Britain leaves.

So why the fcuk did they send it to me? Why not send a application form for a postal vote as they knew I live abroad?

Irrespective, here is the latest news regarding the referendum voting.

EU referendum result could face a legal challenge after ministers were accused of 'skewing' voting by extending registration by TWO DAYS because website crashed
    • Voters had to register before midnight to take part on June 23
    • Some 7.5 million eligible voters are thought to be missing from the system
    • The Government website started showing errors at around 10pm
    • Ministers now changing law to extend deadline to tomorrow night
    • But senior Tory says it could open result to judicial review
    • Vote Leave sources suggested government could be 'skewing' result
    • Despite the errors a record 525,000 registered to vote yesterday

Why weren't you already registered, piwi? The deadline is only for those who couldn't be arsed or were too lazy to register yearly in the normal way. All your hot air about politics in Britain over the years and you weren't even registered to vote

Had dinner with a German friend couple weeks ago. He and Thai wife spend 6 weeks here every year. Would call him an upper middle class busness man from Munich. He told me most all his friends would vote to leave the EU if given the chance. He had no issue with immigrants. Issue is the amont of money (taxes) Germans paid to support other EU members, whether real or perceived.

Would be ironic if UK stays and bunch of other countries bail. France and the UK would do well.

Name change needed however. The FUKU has a ring to it.
