Exclamation The U.K and the E.U - In or out?

The one thing we know for sure is that Prime Minister David Cameron has said it will happen by the end of 2017. The most likely times of the year for referendums are generally May or September, and some people - including, it is said, the prime minister himself - think it should be held as soon as possible. There had been suggestions that it could be held in May 2016, to coincide with elections in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and London, rather than waiting for 2017 - but the government has ruled that out and June or July 2016 are now seen as most likely.

Don't make much difference when they have it, people are easily manipulated cowards and will be too frightened of change to vote to leave , same as Scotland.
And the stay in mob will have way more cash to spend.

look at how the global warming clowns have got people scared silly because the world might get warmer and there will be less ice and snow ..

like all recent votes, and opinion polls, it will be rigged to appear fair and exciting and will go like this:

Out vote will be ahead by 4%
then a few weeks later it be dead even.
later, Stay in will pull ahead by 2%
On election eve it will be dead even again
votes results comes out - stay in wins easy by 15 % ......

    Time to get out.
We still have the strong pound and a pretty good banking/financing system.
Bye bye EU and all the cash the UK has thrown in.

It works for other non-EU European countries, so I'm all for it.

Anything to get rid of those unelected freeloaders ripping us off, demanding we take their dross and expecting us to subsidise Eastern European shitholes.

And preferably do it before they let Turkey in.

I think the UK will vote to exit which would take about 2 years to complete. Meanwhile the negotiations will restart in earnest, then probably another vote........

Get out while you still can.

The EU and Nato is run by the US.

US plan is to fuck Europe via control of the EU. That's what is causing the ridiculous"migrant" scenario.

Easier for them to control the masses with less command centers.

    Fuck 'em.

And fuck every UK lapdog prime minister who bows down to them.

    Cameron is a prime example.

Corbyn is the first breath of fresh air in a while.

The US only watch out for themselves and shit on the rest of the world.

Bring war to peaceful nations under false pretenses.

The savings that the vote will be sold on will not end up in the tax payers pocket.

Vote out of the EU and watch the minimum wage and other tertiary human rights that go along with membership will go down the toilet.

I think the UK would be leaving the EU for all the wrong reasons leading to many of the same problems as well as a few extras. It would be better to work with the EU to solve some fundamental issues rather than walk out in a sulk.

I say stay in. Provided all EU accounts for the last 20 years are signed off by auditors.
All non elected heads of of EU government positions are replaced by democratically elected persons.
The primacy of UK courts over EU courts is re-established.

    Job jobbed all non negotiable.

Why are you under the impression that if the UK left the EU you wouldn't be able to retire in Spain? Do you think the EU will start imposing draconian visa restrictions on Brits visiting or retiring in the EU?? Do you think Spain will kick out the 1 million Brits living in Spain or make it hard for the 20 million who visit Spain every year? Fuk all of any significance will change, worst case scenario is you may end up needing a retirement or residency visa, big deal.

love the irony in this , the pro Europe mob have wheeled out the bank of England chief ,
a man whose only task is to announce interest rates stay the same every month, for which he is paid 879,773 a year ...

If the European union is so successful, then why, out of its 500,000,000 people can't they find anyone able to run the bank, and have employ a Canadian ...

Mark Carney fears Brexit would leave UK relying on 'kindness of strangers'

Bank of England chief says Britain’s large current account deficit could be compounded by a worsening global economy ahead of EU referendum

Carney was careful not to mention the looming in/out referendum but added: “The possibility of a risk premium being attached to UK assets, because of certain developments, exists and that plays into the riskiness of the situation.”

    careful but not that careful...

I can not see them being issues, things will carry on as before with reciprocal rights.

As for property anyone can buy anywhere apart from Thailand, in fact the're some good deals in Spain at the moment. Most of the properties that haven't been land grabbed back have devalued by more than 50% through over development and the credit crunch.

The government and media are going to try every trick in the book and then some to keep the U.K in the E.U.

You think the SNP got a rough ride? Wait and see what UKIP and the anti Euro lobby get thrown their way!

They're welcome to go it alone what with the price off oil at it's lowest and the Barnett formulae thrown into the mix.
However, the canny Scots know when their onto a good thing so i'm afraid the the rest off the U.K are stuck with them

    As for the EU....

    Can't have English sausages,
Raspberry Ripples cannot be called Raspberry Ripples,
Land Rover cannot have side facing occasional rear seats.
    et al.

I say the further away from Europe, ruled by a Belgian committee, the better.
