I was 6 when decimalisation came in. I remember it well. My pocket money went from 2 huge impressive pieces of copper with some bint with a trident ruling the waves on them to some poxy little sequins with a picture of a jail door on them. If anybody shows me THAT was the fault of the mob currently led by Rosa Krebs in Berlin I'll happily vote out.
