Got that, but I still think it’ll be nice poking my finger in every Republicans eye for the next few years with updates on the GOP top tier contenders and how awful the American people see them and their prehistoric views.

I just don’t know why anyone would actually pay to run a poll with Rubio or Bush in them but they continue and it’s the same results. Rubio sucks and Bush is a Bush.

Poll: Hillary Clinton tops native sons Rubio, Bush in Florida - From Quinnipiac, March 21 release

As speculation continues about Hillary Clinton's 2016 ambitions, another poll released today showcases the former secretary of state's electoral strength - according to Quinnipiac, Clinton would beat both Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., in a head-to-head matchup in their home state of Florida.

In a race between Clinton and Bush, Clinton would receive 51 percent of the vote to Bush's 40 percent. She edges Rubio by a slightly larger margin, 52 to 41 percent.

Clinton's favorability rating among Florida voters also far outpaces the two Sunshine State Republicans. She is viewed favorably by 62 percent of voters, unfavorably by 33 percent - a 29 point net favorability rating.

I see it the same way. This is a "speculation" poll.

Why is Rubio considered? Oh, the young "latino" who is crafting his image and message. And yes, a Jeb is....a Bush. I think two is enough. Jeb would have been far better than his dirilect brother George, but that is a moot point.

    Clinton has the strength.

Time flies. Next election is 3 years and 8 months away. That is not a long time, really.

Super PAC preparing for Clinton candidacy beefs up fund-raising wing

The group's name says it all: The "Ready For Hillary PAC" is increasingly its readiness for a possible future presidential bid from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

A source familiar with the group's fund-raising plans told CNN on Sunday that the group has brought on board a national finance director and is assembling a team of regional fund-raising leaders.

Matt Felan, the deputy national finance director on Clinton's 2008 presidential bid, will lead the group's fund-raising. The regional fund-raisers will have ties to past top donors to Clinton, the source said.

"Few people understand the Clinton donor network better than Matt," the source said. "He is making calls and has received widespread positive response. Checks are starting to come in the door. Money shouldn't be a problem."

The source added that several bundlers who aided Clinton in 2008 had already donated to this super PAC. Bundlers pull together individual donations to bring in the huge sums campaigns need.

Clinton's 2008 campaign raised $220 million in donations, according to Federal Election Commission records.

A series of polls conducted this month, including a national one and several state-level polls, found Clinton (way) ahead of other potential presidential candidates.

She has largely stayed out of the spotlight since stepping down from her State Department post in early February, though she has released a video announcing her support for same-sex marriage and will speak this week at the annual Women in the World Summit in New York.

Hillary Clinton is viewed favorably by nearly two-thirds of Americans, according to a Gallup poll released Tuesday (April 23, 2013), making her more popular than President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden or her successor as secretary of state, John Kerry.

The poll found that 64 percent of Americans have a favorable impression of Clinton, compared to 55 percent for Obama, 45 percent for Biden and 44 percent for Kerry.

Clinton also earned a near-unanimous 91 percent favorability rating among Democrats and those who lean Democratic. Biden -- who, like Clinton, is considered a possible presidential candidate in 2016 -- had a relatively less rosy 76 percent favorability rating among those groups.

As with other polls showing Clinton with an early 2016 advantage, there are caveats. She owes some of her popularity to spending the past few years in a relatively nonpartisan job. Unlike Biden or Kerry, she's also a household name for virtually all Americans.

    for the weekend

    April 25, 2013

    Paul rising in New Hampshire

PPP's new poll of New Hampshire Republicans about 2016 finds momentum on Rand Paul's side. He leads the potential field with 28% to 25% for Marco Rubio, 14% for Chris Christie, 7% for Jeb I'm another asshole Bush and Paul Ryan, 4% for Rick Santorum, 3% for Susana Martinez, and 1% each for Rick Perry and Bobby Jindal.

    snip

Clinton's so strong in New Hampshire that early indications are she could take it off the board as a swing state in the general election if she runs. She leads Paul 52/41 and Rubio 52/38 in hypothetical match ups, holding a double digit lead with independents and getting double digit support from Republicans in both potential match ups.

    President Hillary Clinton

Well, it looks like 'ol Piano Legs is in a spot of hot water. Recall how she promoted the story it was that internet video which set off the embassy invasion in Benghazie?

Hilary pushed the fraudulent video narrative while standing over the caskets of Ambassador Stevens and the other three murdered Americans. What a class act, eh?

They had too much invested in Bath House Barry & Piano Legs to give up on them at that time.

Things will change. Soon they will be turning on Obama/Clinton only to try & salvage the mid term elections for the Democrats.

The GOP War on Hillary Clinton Begins Anew | Elections

For several years while Hillary Clinton was merely a government official it seems like the decades long Republican war against her had ended, but it was only lying dormant. For a while the GOP had a much bigger and juicier target in Barack Obama. Clinton was treated with a combination of political neglect or even respect.

Now that Republicans see attacking a lame duck provides only diminishing political returns they have once again set their sights squarely on Clinton. Yesterday’s Benghazi hearing was all about trying to tie blame to Clinton, as this new ad by American Crossroads makes clear.

With Clinton currently holding very strong poll numbers the Republican Party seems to have decided their best hope against her is to tear her down as early as possible. Don’t be surprised if this is the start of a three-year long operation.

Heh...you can run but you cannot hide. More revelations re Piano Legs and what a dishonest piece of work she is:

Jerry Zeifman supervised young Hillary when she was a staffer on the committee devoted to bringing down Nixon for Watergate. The lifelong Democrat fired her and refused to give her a letter of recommendation. A piece from 2008 tells us why:
“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said… “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Well, we're known that from the get-go. Travel-gate, Whitewater etc. It's a well-known pattern of dishonesty.

Heh...try and deflect/dodge the issue(s) again we see. And yet more name calling too! (getting emotional again there Humbert)

Anything to add to this piece from 2008 that tells us why Clinton is Untrustworthy?

Take your time - we're sure it's all a product of the VRWC, eh?

VRWC - Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

    Why was she fired?

Why? "Because she was a liar," Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.'

but IMO they're way too early ...people will long forget about this 3 years from now. of course they'll try to bring it back up in late 2015, but there's no way benghazi is going to stick to her....even if she had shot the ambassador herself, someone down the state dept. ladder would take the fall for clinton.

this is good for one thing only...firing up the base. and if there's one thing we learned in '12, it's that the republican base can't win a national election....there's not nearly enough poorly educated, geriatric white males to push a republican candidate over the top. women, blacks, hispanics, asians, the young...all these groups are going to vote for clinton in droves.

and i also think they're going after the wrong woman...she's been through a lot over the years, and one thing she doesn't do is quit.

i'm not in the habit of making political projections 3 years out (in fact, i've chastened others for doing the same), but in this particular case, it's different because of demographics....if she runs, she'll win.

Hillary Clinton Fired From Watergate Committee for Fraud, Ethics Violations

Hillary WASN'T LYING! Bosnia gunfire footage discovered... - YouTube

The former general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary during the Watergate investigation, says her history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.

Hillary Clinton has been taking a lot of heat lately over the Bosnia sniper misfire, for which she has been derided and ridiculed by all but the most staunch of her supporters. It has even inspired the above YouTube video, which recently surpassed 1,500,000 views. Now comes this bombshell from Jerry Zeifman, who supervised a much younger Hillary Clinton when she worked as a staffer for the Watergate committee: 'A lifelong Democrat, Mr. Zeifman supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.' Why? "Because she was a liar," Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.' Mr. Zeifman also had this to say about a Hillary campaign rally in Connecticut in early February of this year: 'I have just seen Hillary Clinton and her former Yale law professor both in tears at a campaign rally here in my home state of Connecticut. Her tearful professor said how proud he was that his former student was likely to become our next President. Hillary responded in tears.' 'My own reaction was of regret that, when I terminated her employment on the Nixon impeachment staff, I had not reported her unethical practices to the appropriate bar associations.' This is no small potatoes, like the cattle futures dustoff. From Mr.Zeifman's account, Hillary and others on the Committee, including former senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation by stealing Judiciary Committee files on the only precedent case that could have stonewalled their plot and drafting a legal brief that, according to Mr. Ziefman, "was so fraudulent and ridiculous Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge."

Heh...this will come back to haunt her if she makes it to 2016 which is looking real doubtful these days.

Benghazi didn’t faze this woman or her reputation.

PPP's newest national poll finds that Republicans aren't getting much traction with their focus on Benghazi over the last week. Voters trust Hillary Clinton over Congressional Republicans on the issue of Benghazi by a 49/39 margin and Clinton's +8 net favorability rating at 52/44 is identical to what it was on our last national poll in late March. Meanwhile Congressional Republicans remain very unpopular with a 36/57 favorability rating.

Voters think Congress should be more focused on other major issues right now rather than Benghazi. By a 56/38 margin they say passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill is more important than continuing to focus on Benghazi, and by a 52/43 spread they think passing a bill requiring background checks for all gun sales should be a higher priority.

While voters overall may think Congress' focus should be elsewhere there's no doubt about how mad Republicans are about Benghazi. 41% say they consider this to be the biggest political scandal in American history to only 43% who disagree with that sentiment. Only 10% of Democrats and 20% of independents share that feeling. Republicans think by a 74/19 margin than Benghazi is a worse political scandal than Watergate, by a 74/12 margin that it's worse than Teapot Dome, and by a 70/20 margin that it's worse than Iran Contra.

One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is ( ). 10% think it's in Egypt, 9% in Iran, 6% in Cuba, 5% in Syria, 4% in Iraq, and 1% each in North Korea and Liberia with 4% not willing to venture a guess.

At any rate what we're finding about last week's Benghazi focus so far is that Republicans couldn't be much madder about it, voters overall think Congress should be focused on other key issues, and Hillary Clinton's poll numbers aren't declining on account of it.

Voters trust Clinton over GOP on Benghazi - Public Policy Polling
