Ok it's not my cooking but it's genuine "I'm staying home watching tv sports all day and the world can kiss my arse" blokes food
It's a new local business that're currently bombarding social media with their presence which didn't sway me, but a buddy telling me he'd tried them and was impressed did. Who doesn't like a good Burrito?.
Small breakfast Burrito, will get the big one next time
Beef Burrito with fresh mild salsa and the Mexican rice upgrade, it's a big meal.
Bloody lovely. Total cost 220 Baht including 15 Baht delivery fee to get it from Central Pattaya to Jomtien and came with a couple of little tubs of salsa and sour cream. Will definitely be ordering from here again or calling into their shp which is on the small Soi between the Buffalo bar and the Castle fetish club off 3rd road, not that I know where or what these places are *cough*.
Can't argue with that value and with those portion sizes I think a certain poster will become a regular.
Well that was fun

Hey Dil, you took a pic recently that I think was from the Robin's Nest.
What are the prices like these days in there?
^ No, never been in there. Have seen it on Foodpanda
It's expensive for Pattaya

Curried beans and Wensleydale with a drizzle of daddies... Lush
Get that orf here, should have been sealed in a sarnie toaster and then Lulu'd for 3 minutes.
The local farm stand got in some vine ripe tomatoes out of Florida. So I whipped up a jar of homemade salsa for tortilla chip dipping. Gonna wait for the local tomatoes to come in season and then make 3 or 4 more jars of it. Just recently finished off the last jar from last year.
White distilled vinegar, kosher salt, some white sugar, a sprinkle or two of crushed red pepper flakes, two whole tomatoes, half a green bell pepper, half of a sweet onion, 2 or 3 garlic cloves, quite a few sliced pickled jalapenos, some of the juice from the jalapeno jar, half a can of tomato paste and some chives. Whizzed it all around a few times in the food processor and there ya go. Need to get a hold of some fresh cilantro for the next batch.
Just as good as what you get served with chips in a "Mexican" restaurant around here. Maybe better.
SKkin, that sounds good. You don't have it too chunky?
We like em chunky...
The ones I made last year I thought weren't chunky enough. Gave this jar a few less spins in the processor.
edit: If I run out of homemade and buy some in the store, I'll get this:
I expect it benefits from sitting for a while to mature too.
One of my sisters is a big pickle, chutney and jam maker. She does batches up and passes them round the family. Got three Damson trees in her garden and she knocks up Damson jam and Chutney - no idea last year what she did with the chutney but if i had so much as a teaspoon i got the most god almighty heartburn for the rest of the day - had to throw it out, no one else was affected which is weird.
Yes. Had a little more than a jarful with this one. So I ate the extra right away, but will let the jar sit for a week or so before using it.
edit: some people cook theirs down when making salsa...I don't. Prefer it like this.
The wife is like that with some things. She says I've a cast iron stomach. Told her she just has a weak constitution.

Got my entire garden planted this year and always make canned salsa, marinara, pickles, sliced jalapeno's etc. Going to be a bumper crop I hope as I got everything planted early this year and some of the plants are already bearing fruit.
Yum I am sure it is very tasty.
This badboy's about ready to go into the deep fat fryer, wrapper n'all.
Thai dogs love plastic.
Do you put yours on the stove and cook it down..or just raw ingredients? I don't skin the tomatoes either. Probably doing it all wrong, but nobody has died from eating my salsa...yet. I figure between keeping it in the fridge and the vinegar, it's all good.
I wish. My days of gardening are history. Used to try to grow some tomatoes but the damned critters around here would take bites out of them just as they'd be getting ready to pick. Gave up. Never figured out if it was the rabbits, the squirrels, the chipmunks or the occasional possum.
