The much beloved Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, celebrates its 100th birthday on April 23, 2014, and one of its most distinctive features is the manual scoreboard. Along with Boston’s Fenway Park, it is one of only two stadiums in the majors with primary manual scoreboards.

In honor of Wrigley's anniversary, Associated Press photographer Kiichiro Sato was allowed to climb the steel ladder through the steel floor for a rare behind-the-scenes visit. Juding from the photos, little has changed in the past 100 years.

A temporary memorial for the 47 students and teachers whose bodies have been identified after being recovered from the Sewol ferry opened Wednesday in Ansan.
Danwon High School's junior class was aboard the ferry heading to the southern tourist island of Jeju. About 250 of the students are dead or missing.

By noon, the line of mourners stretched to the street, many of them in black suits and black dresses.

"This was the only thing I could do for the students," said Lee Ae-ri, who lives in another city about a half-hour drive away. "I can't stay long inside because I feel like tearing up."
