They also close port 80 and a couple of others until you ring them up and say you want to run a mail server and web server then they open them up for you if you ask nicely. But I'm sure you knew that. Give me your email address and I'll prove it for you...

keep ringing them then, because they haven't heard you the first time, port 25 is still closed and so is port 80
