Now, normally I wouldn't think anything of it, people probe servers all the time but suddenly my little server was getting all this attention from machines on an ISP that serves France and the Benelux countries? Very odd...

So, I returned your red repo with a red one and listed the email address that the ISP provides to report abuse and I left it at that. If it wasn't you then you would have thought "what's that dickhead QC on about" or posted something like a "what's that got to do with me?" denial but if it was you then you'd fester on it and let slip soon enough, et voila!

Of course all I had was a suspicion until now but you have just confirmed it. Congrats dickhead.

You'll be doing me a favour by showing me that I have more to learn and configure, and in case you are scared that I'd report you to your ISP you can use this public post as proof that I asked you to do it. Win-win for you unless you are full of shit...

Anyway, it's been over two hours since Necron showed you how to find a server and it is still ticking along fine. Looks like your 5 minute rootkit that was reduced in desperation to a 1 minute rootkit needs a little more work or are you still compiling the kernel you are going to install onto the machine? That would be a neat trick since you couldn't find it without help and even if you were sitting in front of it you have no idea what hardware is in its little box. -He whinges that my webserver is not a "real" webserver despite (a) it is serving files and (b) it is doing it over the web. I never made any claims about what it was doing apart from serving files over the web. Which it is. Ergo it is a webserver.
