Do you think Sandra will end up chopping his knackers off? and would it be a good idea for him to take some pictures of them so he can remember them if and when it happens?

I think the Flipperlanders are faking out Scampy. They're bluffing and Mother in law is being manipulative.
Just do nothing and look amenable and keep smiling. Go around smiling like a loon and saying 'yes yes', but not actually doing anything to marry anyone. The Flippers are the most inert nation out, 'action' is not their middle name.
Having said all that I know numerous westerners who have happy marriages with Filipina girls - usually domestic helpers, but some have more dubious provenances - that they met initially in Wanchai discos. The girls certainly are kind-hearted and look after them nicely.

Scamp let me say this. It will be the last time I say anything on this thread.
Get the fcuk out of there. fokin dissapear quickly. Forget about the girl.
She is locked into a downward spiral into poverty and is willing to take you with her.
Her best way forward is to go back to HK and carry on as before.
You are a young, better than the average looking guy in Asia, you should find a girl that has parents who have careers and thier own money.
Get out of the titty bars and find a girl who is not bound into prostitution by her social - economic background. You deserve more and there are loads of girls who fit this bill.
Stop kidding yourself that prostitiutes are a challenge to get to know, thats bullshit. They are easy to get to know, you just have to flow money in thier direction.
Sort your fokin head out boy.
You can and should do better that this.
Have followed your posts here and other places, I think you should sample the eldest daughter's delights and run, then try a Katoey, write a book, find a nice Chinese girl and settle down on the royaltys from the book!
I bet part of him enjoys all this drama created by them thinking he's a good catch, rather challenging to play with the projected role, isn't it?
pretty easy i think, a big budget production company spots the diamond in the rough and immediatly contacts him adn offers him a 6 figue salary to start workgin fo rthem
^ you've noticed then?
RUN BOY!! and quickly too!
good luck.

Oh well, deposit paid on apartment, forty quid per month so that's eighty.
Move in end of.
Sandra's talking to me again, she says I make my own problems and that broardcasting my life on the net doesn't help and its no wonder I'm going bald.
I put my foot down with the MIL, I said, "Now just a moment Mrs S" etc.. and she has reluctantly agreed for us to live together in the apartment which is just as well as it's more in the middle of nowhere than I am now and there's kids everywhere tugging my shorts and saying "money!", so I said to one who can speak ok English...
"Are ALL Phillipino's poor?"
And he replied, "Most but not all"
So I replied, "Then what the FUCK makes you think that all us westerners are rich?"
If you think I'm full of shit I will post a photo tomorrow of me standing in the street waving a flag with the TD logo on it, though can't promise the latter.

Well one, the schoolteacher, is 30 and desperate for a boyfriend but far too fussy. Sandra tells me to talk to her and give advice as they are not close in that way. My advice was that she stop worrying and do something about it because as Morrissey once said...
"Shyness is nice - but, shyness can stop you, from doing all the things in life you'd like to"
After asking who he was I explained that he was sexually ambiguous and unobtainable and when she asked if I had any single friends I said yes, but they are all married or playboys.
She said "oh".
Smart lady -- consider yourself lucky the message wasn't delivered with a "beating about the head."
As to the MIL -- get the relationship sorted out NOW. It won't get any better; if anything, it can deteriorate. Sounds as if the most you can hope for is a chilly detente. Live far away from the in-laws. Hell, I've not lived closer than 360 miles to my own parents since I was 17 years old -- close enough to get there in an emergency but not close enough for daily contact or drop-ins.
Scampy - tell the sister you'll snap a photo and post it on TD. TD is a good spot for her to find a bf and if all else fails there is always Butterfy.Originally Posted by The Gentleman Scamp

#1 The no divorce only applies to her, she can't divorce you. You can divorce here, but you have to do it outside of the Philippines, in your home country for example.
#2 Don't trust travel agents in the Philippines, they want one thing and that's money. They think they know so much but they are morons. They really are.
Like Thais, being afraid of ghosts is the norm, so the girls have a white tin pot with a lid in which they urinate.
I on the other hand don't have a pot to piss in.
