^ possibly, but no longer under warranty. They took it in for 2 days and checked codes. As you say, they've been very good re charging, unlike Germany. Problem looked fixed but came back a few days later.
Ahh, it's in Thailand.
They must really not have a clue, then. Usually they will declare that it's part XYZ and whether that fixes it is anyone's guess.
^ Apologies to the slight thread drift, but I thought I'd give an update.
I trawled the internet and found the same problem has been posted on Youtube from Oz. It was caused by the vacuum tube going to the diff actuator being cut. Anyway I sent the link to my wife and asked for them to check during today's appointment.
Just got feedback. Yes, they originally changed the actuator switch (fair enough, that's according to the error code) When this didn't fix it they found the above vacuum tube (not wiring as wife had told me) had been eaten by rats so replaced it. This time the same thing, rats had bitten through the vacuum tube again. It's not easy to protect from rats either so it looks to be a weak spot in the system and we need to think of a better method of protecting from rats.
They charged for the actuator replacement but all the other work has been done for free because they had to find the source of the problem. Yes, that's a lot more than the pipe but the manhours to diagnose the fault pays for that IMO.
^ I think you're being a little harsh on the mechs here. I find them to be pretty good and always helpful.
^ Get a cat with it's basket next/close to your car?
Put a couple of those rat trap glue boards on the ground where you park the car.
It's a little known fact that rats detest Taylor Swift music, play it on a constant loop and you'll be good.

Rant over.
While some might consider this a Daily cheer, I am not really getting that feeling. So I had planned on retiring this April. All seemed on track to a great degree, but then I had an executive management call last Thursday.......
After all the dust settled as they say, I was asked to stay on for not only the next generation automotive lighting release, but to manage the factory for the Gen 1 product until all units have been consumed plus any aftermarket supply demand. So once again, my retirement moves........ until at least 2026.
The upside is that I will continue to WFH for the most part and only have a few trips to Japan.
^ Did you try Taylor Swift?
My moan is clutter.
I have a range of boxes with accumulated detritus from my last 50+ years and some of it holds memories, some was stuff i thought that will be cool to display, some i have no fukin idea why i have it and some even where it came from. The problem is try as i might i cannot seem to shed the stuff, its followed me around, been unpacked, repacked, sorted into piles but then put back numerous times. Its doing my swede in. Anyway, i have invited the nongs to come around and take it all away and do what they will with it, they might make a few bob too, one box holds a stack of coins and notes from all sorts of places i've been. Can't think why i didn't move the problem on before, possibly a nagging feeling its a another step closer to leaving this world with what you came in with, minus the pubes of course.
Moans about clutter, then...

Injured myself lifting something heavy at work last summer. Had a couple months off and thought it would heal with rest. It didn't. Went to doctor and got an ultrasound which showed a partial tear in the rotator cuff. Tried physio for a couple months, didn't work. Tried cortisone shots, didn't work for long enough. Finally decided on surgery.
Now the moan. When they did the surgery 3 days ago they discovered it was a full tear, not partial as earlier diagnosed which required much more serious surgery, and a much more serious and lengthy recovery. Was an unpleasant surprise when I woke up. Have to wear a bulky sling with foam cushions night and day for 6 weeks, along with a cryopac that feeds ice water through it from a cooler. Recovery time is 4-6 months. Literally moaning as I type this. Being loaded on oxycodone helps but also makes me feel like shit. Will be switching to tramadol next week so I don't get addicted.
Unlucky to be injured but lucky to live in a socialist country that pays workers comp at 90% of my wages pre-injury. (Perhaps that's a cheer )
Won't be posting much, or even reading as it makes me dizzy.
Thought it was a worthy moan to share.
