I think I've got covid and not flu as flu doesn't usually include phantosmia (olfactory hallucinations). Weird, because the phantom smells are of fried onions and brown gravy. Could be worse, I suppose.

If you are going to do something do it well. I mean if you get pneumonia you might as well throw type A Influenza in. Then you can end up in hospital with 3 different antibiotics dripping into you. You get to use a nebulizer every three hours, and get your blood pressure and pulse oxygen checked every 3 as well. First time ever in a hospital, not enjoying it at all but getting good care. 24/7 with the nasal cannula as well. A bit out of it to be sure.
