^ yeah, I suspect that's probably right - there's a lot of fast growing sustainable trees used in paper mills nowadays.
Save the paper mills.
I dunno. It must cost bundles in fuel to transport materials and books. Would be interesting to find out.
Depends on how much you read.Paper books may have a lower carbon footprint than ereaders
^ & ^^ fair points.
There's so much to consider for the "complete answer".
I'd like to moan about Bitcoin - it uses too much energy and is just stupid.
Went to Starbucks yesterday for a quick coffee and a snack after my swim. All the savoury options were f*cking plant based meat. Plant based ham, plant based tuna, plant based beef. One, one single non-plant based savoury dish.
I HATE having this shit pushed down my throat (literally and figuratively). If they think there is such a huge demand for plant based crap, offer both and see how it fairs.
Now, don't get me wrong. If there had been a lettuce, tomato and cress wrap - fair enough. But mangling f&cking pea powder with 300 f*cking chemicals to get a glob of rancid tuna - they can f*ck right off.
Went to Starbucks
I spotted your problem…
3:15pm and raining here. It is so dark the automatic sunset activated lights have come on.
Massive astro turf burn on my right leg has been sticking to my trousers all day.
To much info
Maybe a tad shy to explain it to the pharmacist?
10 hours at the coalface today plus an extra hour doing some accounts for a mate, shouldn't really be a moan coz I earnt nearly £300 .
Why did that baby doll 26 year old colleague spit instead of swallow, tonight??

Mrs Troy arrived back at our Thai house today and it was a little bit of a disaster. A disaster made worse because she didn't sleep much on either plane and has been awake for the best part of 24 hours.
There was a power cut yesterday and when the power came back on there was a water surge that caused the kitchen pipe to fail. Only her Mother in the house, who didn't notice the resulting water leak until she got a wet bum sat on the living room floor. Must have been been chucking water out for several hours by then and my kitchen had turned into a swimming pool. The family managed to mop it up but anything unseen is left forgotten by Thais. Wife arrived and had to remove all the kitchen kick boards to show the pools of water that have warped all the bottom cupboard supports.
While removing the kick boards in a tired panic, she managed to gash her hand and by the time she called me I was responsible for causing the electric to fail, causing the water leak, and for failing to have the first aid kit somewhere she could find easily.
Then, she finds out that someone has stolen most of the fish from the pond. Apparently, we are the second, or third, pond in the village to fall victim to the electric-shock-fishing thieves. Pretty sure we know who is responsible but no evidence to confront. The dogs had been barking like crazy but no-one bothering to be with MIL during the lasts for the last week, leaving her alone in the house. Thank goodness no-one decided to pop inside and rob the place and knock her off.
Oh, and my trail cameras were in my office instead of their usual places outside. That was my fault, I had forgotten to put them back out after maintenance on my last visit.
Still, nothing too disastrous, nothing that can't be repaired or replaced, just a bit of inconvenience. The main problem is that this means I will have to accompany the wife every time rather than have a bit of time with my Dad in England from time to time.
I blame Brexit!!
