A couple of them are very Husky like with blue eyes, never seen them around our village before.

^ yeah, there has been a lot of interbreeding in Thailand with trendy foreign dogs over the last decade or so. The "farm" next to ours has mixed a bangkaew with a big Rottweiler, and it's a bloody terror... We have two quite aggressive bangkaews, and they regularly get beaten up by this single nut case mix.

Those husky wolf dogs in your pic look pretty lean and tough fighting machines.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Indeed, I mentioned that to him shortly after he moved in. The guy's an a**hole.

They became very trendy in Thailand about 8 years ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see their influence on street mutts multiply rapidly.

Expect the same effect with Bengal cats shortly.

Typically always the case Mendy. Owners really dictate how their dogs will behave and socialize. Sadly most people buy a pet, love it while its a puppy or kitten then when older ignore it and let it become near feral, especially here.

^ a bit like the wife; she was nice(ish) when I got her for Xmas, then I got a bit bored and now she has become feral. It is the daily moan thread, and she gives me a lot to moan about...

Indeed, she's more than 60 kg. M'Sahib has just gone to let her out of the house and sit with her for a while.

Yeah well, you have yourself to blame.

Surely you'd heard the saying, 'a wife's for life, not just for Christmas'.

    A long long long life...

It's true that Husky pups sell themselves. I was after a German Shepherd but the Husky got to me first. 9 years ago.

There have been a few husky-looking soi dogs around over the years. Before the muslims moved in.

Fuk me, that's a big dog. That dog is probably heavier than most Thai women.

It was due to a sickness at the time, yellow fever. The worst disease (and most costly both financially and life enjoyment/happiness) I've ever had.

She was a bit happy today and even came for a cuddle (I soon put a stop to that idea...) because Thailand beat the Chinese at volleyball.

    Ouch. Nasty. My sympathies.

For all others, a shingles vaccination is one of the recommended ones for those aged 60 and over......

A friend of a friend got that at around 15-16 years old and missed an entire year of school over it.

His name was Patrick, was ginger, so I only knew him as Ginger-Pa. Perhaps gingers are more susceptible to it due to their poor DNA?

    What happened last night?

To members in the UK, did you awake to a layer of dust covering your cars.

    I reckon it's Sahara sand...

Just spent all morning , washing, waxing my whip and literally as I finished it started raining Saharan sand.

    I don't know why I bother.
