Was walking with me daughter along the beach today, holding a fishing lure in one hand. As my arm swung, one treble snagged in me shorts, my hand kept moving and the other treble well and truly embedded itself in me finger, well past the barb. Hand now securely fastened to shorts.

Daughter ran off for help, my wife couldn't pull the damn thing out, then panicked and ran off for help, returning with half of the hotel staff. The hook just wouldn't come out of me finger so in the end the hotel gardener managed to cut it out with a stanley knife. There was quite an audience by this point.

Lost three nice fish today. Each one just fell off the hook, no problem.

My daily moan : those weird pants boners. When you sit down and the zipper area folds up and looks like a boner, and stays that way, no matter how much you readjust your pants

Our builder who is a great guy, built us a commendable house and diligently attends to post-sale/move-in/handover items...yet again failed to tell us a tradesman was going to be at the house today to do some work. This time thankfully only five minutes away in the car.

Communication. It’s a chick thing, not a guy thing.
And especially not a builder thing.

Having a drink tonight with my twat of a Welsh mate.

If you want to avoid falling for the same practical 'joke', the can on the left is mosquito spray, on the right is light oil.

When he's dying in the morning and gasping for some water, pass him the Crystal bottle filled with Vodka.

Hate saying it but I love the water bucket, which I fill up with hot water from the shower during the winter and throw ice in during the hot n dry season. Love it as does the wife and the rest of the family.

OK so you've spent a few quid on a number plate and have to explain to everyone what it means! !

    C'mon? ??

    What is the point!

Tonight I was teaching my daughter how to react if some one tried to abduct her.

She kneed me in the balls so hard I nearly threw up.

It's hard being a parent sometimes.

Utapao Airport has been modernised a bit. Domestic and International Depertures both share the same building now. There's a KFC and food court in there too but if you go up the escalators and go through international departures instead of going the other way to domesric thinking you can get round to it that way you will be fucked and left with two shitty little snack bar places selling curry chicken puffs and tuna sandwiches and they wont let you back out of security.

The Central they raved about in there is tiny.

Didnt have to get on a coach this time though and there are brand new walk on plane platform thingamebobs.

Theyve also got the biometric machines up and running which the Thais unlike Farang don't have to use on the way out for some strange reason but do on the way back in. On the way out you have to put 4 fingers then 1 thumb on the machine and repeat with the other hand. On the way back you only have to use 4 fingers and not your thumb

Not really a daily moan more of a week long one and a hallelujah today.

My back plays up, started with 3 weeks strapped to a board when i injured myself at 12 YO and then supplemented by various gymnastics over car bonnets on Motorbikes, with a few Rugby ones getting stuck at the bottom of 5-6 17 stone players taking the opportunity to give you a good kicking and throw in a couple of not insignificant work related one all of which means that over the years the bouts of back trouble have been getting more frequent and severe.

The last week has largely had me unable to sleep, sit and even prescription drugs and no amount of helpful and fuking painful stretches touched it.

My savior came this morning in the form of my morning walk, i was striding out along the canal towpath doing a ridiculously long stride that John Cleese would be proud of when i had an almighty pain down my leg which left me poleaxed on the floor but lo and behold its seems to have righted itself, i hope - still sore but i am at least able to sit without constant pain.

Nothing to moan about now except Ozzie bad losers, they are never happy unless they are rubbing sand in it.

And great for getting the sack. Its really my fault, i need to be more aware and not do stupid things like slouch when sitting and picking things up in the wrong way - as Manny used to say, a slow learner.

Taking magnesium supplements worked for my back, and it certainly cannot hurt. Try to get mag tablets which have a few different forms of it, and avoid magnesium oxide, as it is the least easily assimilated.

Aspartate, citrate, orotate, amino acid chelate are the ones to look for.

I've been thinking about that too. Since I'm off the road and thought I didn't need to worry about drug testing anymore.

But the pain clinic where I'm a patient does random drug tests...State required. So if I fail their random, there goes the scrip pain medication. Who knew...
