I use Opera Mini. Compresses the pages before it sends them to you, invaluable if you are on a miserly data plan.

It's also got nine "speed dials" which meet my needs for mobile browsing:

Sky Mobile
BBC Mobile
OddsChecker Mobile
Football/Satellite listings
Various NewsNow pages
etc.
